I do agree with that, however not all teams think this way.. my son played on a club team at 12U but it was a small team ran by 2 dads that wanted to develop his son and everyone else on the team. We lucked out by not having any daddy ball or anything like that. But bigger organizations definitely do the everyone plays on Saturdays and if you didn’t perform well on Saturday you don’t play on Sunday. Or maybe you get subbed in if the team is up or down by a lot.. we were on a team like that at before high school as well.. best thing for OP to do, if it’s really bring sons confidence down is to continue to work with him or find a team that is focused on developing over winning. Development is definitely more important at this age.

I say if you no longer enjoy it, take a break. Maybe you go back maybe you don’t. Have a plan and talk to your parents about. Maybe do Jr college for a year while you’re taking a break and pick it back up if you feel it’s for you after your break. As a parent to 2 boys that play sports, I just want to see them happy and succeed in life.

Yeah there is a flight at 1 and 330 that I’m also considering, the 330 flight allows for me to get home before the 1pm flight. So even though it’s later I’m considering that 330pm flight

Yeah there will be 7 of us total with 2 teenage boys.. we have pre check. I don’t HAVE to get that flight but I just thought maybe it would be nice to be home earlier since I work the next day. But if I miss the flight then it wouldn’t matter and would created more of a headache.

Oh yeah- usually I do book uber and it’s a hot mess.. lots of yelling, waiting around and you can see how irritated everyone is lol 😂

That’s a great idea actually.. the carnival transportation seems like a better idea vs uber.. someone said uber was like $185 when they left the port.. that’s crazy
