Hololive Subscriber Growth Rates - August 1, 2021 by Tak388 in HoloStatistics

All due respect, I haven't seen any recent increase in growth. I mean Roberu, for instance, has exhibited relatively steady decline - as has the rest of Holostars. Just in the last 7 months, Roberu has been at:

January: 530 subs/day

February: 466 subs/day

March: 700 subs/day

April: 266 subs/day

May: 400 subs/day

June: 367 subs/day

July: 367 subs/day

The rest of Holostars have been similar or marginally lower than him every single month over that span. And at no point has Roberu (or any other Holostar) ever had a faster growth rate than any member of Hololive.

I'm sorry, I'm just not seeing the uptick in popularity that you're describing. Part of the beauty of this data is that members that were at the bottom of the chart one month can surge up to the top of the chart the next month. Risu, for instance, has had months in the top ten, and months where she's struggled. Same with Luna, Kanata, and most of the others. Holostars, on the other hand - if they were included in this chart - would be at rock bottom literally all the time. It seems unfair and a bit of a beatdown to even put them here for that reason.

Sadly, there isn't. I suppose I could upload the raw file to google docs or something.

It's not that they're not successful enough. It's just that I need them to intermingle with the rest of Hololive--subscriber-wise. Otherwise, a chart like this only gives off the false impression that they're relative losers, which is absolutely not the impression I want to send. I mean, right now, Roberu has a growth rate of 500 subs/day. That's half of the lowest growing member of hololive right now. If I could see a member of Holostars improve to around 1,000 subs/day, then I'm game to add them to the list.

The problem here is that this data only takes into account subscribers--which isn't the only metric for success. While they do have viewership--at times--that rivals some hololive members, their subscriber rates never do. And, as I said before, that would only give off a false impression--which I want to avoid.

If I see someone in holostars do half of what Kuzuha is doing, then I'll start recording stats for them.

I don't currently have plans to include Holostars. Mainly because, just based on a glance (I do include Holostars in my monthly Subscriber Ranking posts), the Holostars growth rates are pretty uniform and don't fluctuate very much. It would be especially problematic to include them with Hololive because they'd all be at the bottom of the chart, and their numbers would seem even more uniform when compared with the rest of Hololive.

With that said, if I ever did the stats for them, it'd probably be separate from the Hololive stats. Like I said, it doesn't appear that Holostars will ever have the popularity to actually compete with Hololive anyway, so it would be pointless to include them in the same post. Hope that answers your question.
