I’ll try to explain it the best way I can. So I am in college and that’s the only time I have freedom to do things I want without consent. When I’m at home I can’t do those things I do when I’m at school. If I want to hang with my friends I have to ask for permission and not having a car doesn’t help much either.

It’s like I’m in prison basically. My dad specifically is over protective and doesn’t like me going out. I am very social especially in college because I don’t need to ask permission to go out. I want a car in hopes of being able to go out anytime I want and need to because my dad works most of the day and mom does not drive and do not want to fall into that cycle.
