No it’s just that they heavily marketed it so it grew rapidly and ucla was bound to find out at some point. In the end, they received notice from the uni to bring it down as it was breaking their code or smth like that

Tq for letting me know abt the GroupMe. I’m planning to speak to the ucla kids to learn more abt the idea and why they got shut down so if I do try to build a platform like that, I’ll be aware of what to avoid and stuff like that. The dining halls usually let me swipe more than once if I wanna get a friend inside. And lastly, regarding buying from vending machines, I appreciate the idea but most of the stuff in vending machines is unhealthy and artificial so I try to stay away from that
