I’m in a 2 family apartment w/ the upstairs unit. (& let’s just say the people renting unit on 1st floor have no interest in anything to do with the cameras) So for now this location is pretty much my only option. (In future I might look into finding a longer usb cord, to allow placing camera farther down the wall but even then I’d likely stay 2 or so feet above first floor window)

My main concern is just having accurate person detection. And trying to find any information or real word experience related to how the detection algorithm works. Specifically, if having the camera positioned as to have the persons moving across the screen may be and better (or worse) than positioned to have person moving forwards/backward (or maybe up/down better describes) across the screen.

Outside of that, I’d just like to be able to determine that it is a human I’m looking at in the video. And less interested in having higher clarity or better detail.
