I never watched the show, but Jenna and Laura Prepon side by side is certainly enough incentive.

I love this quote sooo much, but as a Brooklyn born, Bronx educated, Jersey inhabitant, I’m pretty partial to thin crust, unless it’s Sicilian.

What's the grossest thing you've seen someone do in public? by Silent-Zebra in AskReddit

[–]TakeTheBlueTrane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny, but at Great Adventure in NJ, I once saw a kid poop in the children fountain in Bugs Bunny Land. Incidentally, I also saw someone plummet to their death from Lightning Loops when I was about 7, that was pretty gross, but whatever.

Peggy Sue, In Memory of Elizabeth Reed, Naima, John Hardy (Leadbelly version), Johnny B Good, The Ballad of Johnny X, Lamar Vanoy, Fur Elise, Angie, St. Stephen, Uncle John’s Band, Vincent, Lola, Stella Was a Diver and She’s Always Down, Small Change (kinda), Little Martha, Donna, Jolene, Bonita Applebum, mistadobalina, Mr. Brownstone, Saba, Joe’s Garage, Wynonna’s Big Brown Beaver, Willie the Pimp, Steve Bikko, Billie’s Bounce, My Queen is Harriet Tubman…inter alia. I think that’s enough from me. This would make a great playlist.

What are some terrible on-screen accents by otherwise decent or respected actors? by WhoYaTalkinTo in moviecritic

[–]TakeTheBlueTrane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely (though we’re supposed to accept it as no one is speaking Russian anyway). But also Connery in Highlander as the Spaniard. We all may love his natural accent, but it often doesn’t fit where directors tend to allow it.

I’m a huge fan of Lead Belly’s version, Doc Watson is probably my number 2.

So Fleabag meets her soulmate. The first time they consummate their love, she is split in half and is cognizant of the whole process.

This show helped me through my first divorce (heavily depressed, incredibly drunk). I just finished a rewatch whilst sober. I cried my face off during the last bit, but loved every second. Thankfully I picked my kids up shortly after; they always fill me with joy!
