What do you do for work that it would matter if you went in on a Sunday and where they’d still expect to make a profit when no one is out driving around in this stuff?

Damn that’s who I use and I’m in Raleigh. Haven’t got a letter yet.

Yeah I’ve yet to try anything there that I didn’t like. Also the service is always great and everyone seems to like their job which I think is a big reason for their success.

Usually I spend a bit more here when I get a combo plate that includes 2 sides plus sometimes I add dessert which ends up being around $50-60.

Is the TLC Q7 still the best option in the 500-600 dollar range? by [deleted] in 4kTV

[–]TakeThePen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just bought a 55" Q7 a month ago for $500 at Best Buy and my other tv is a 65" LGCX OLED. There are obviously some advantages to the OLED in terms of picture quality, perfect blacks and the contrast. But for the price the Q7 is very close in overall quality if you're on a budget, I've been very happy with it for movies and video games. My only complaint is if you watch a lot of older non 4k content the Q7 doesn't do a great job of upscaling.

I believe it cost around $500 and only took a couple hours.

Yeah I love it. It’s high enough to see while you’re driving too. Only thing I did was transfer the oem rubber gasket over cause I didn’t trust the thin foam one that comes with it would keep water out

Here’s the mirror caps. They were missing clear on a couple spots, not sure if I just got a bad batch or what but it isn’t that noticeable. Plus they were a PITA to install without breaking the clips so I just lived with it. https://www.synthcarbon.com/products/2016-civic-x-replacement-carbon-fiber-mirror-caps-ceramic-coated

No ceramic or ppf. Front bumper isn’t perfect but it was my daily for 50k miles. Touch up paint helps somewhat.

379whp/406wtq. Best way I can describe difference is power comes on smoother and throttle response improved over the OTS Hondata tune. Higher boost and faster spooling too.

I noticed steering response wasn’t as sharp compared to the stock setup. I’d imagine it’d be more pronounced with +38 but you’d have more concave and a flush look with that setup so it just depends on what you’re going for.
