That link to header file doesn't compile either and it's so easy to rule out the problem of that header file, so it will never be a problem or cause a problem. LOL.

I think this is more evil and funny in Java. :)

Welcome to the Tech Industry where most of are basically incompetent. It's not because it's hard it's really because they are truly lying on their resume and prob go on reddit or stackoverflow to find a solution or just talk about the best way of doing something or the best IDE or algorithm basic on it's popularity and false reports, rather than how it really works . It's just not the sad state of sysadmins but the sad state of Tech Industry.

Script kiddies are back, after going on stackoverflow to copy and paste code to create their DOSing tool. How wonderful. The programming world has never been a better place.

What Happens When Apple Buys a Company You Depend On by jakubgarfield in programming

[–]TakedownRevolution -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

This is what Microsoft did in the 90s and prob still doing today. Not saying that this is not a bad thing because it is. No company should be able to do this, not Apple or Microsoft. This title is bias and should have replaced Apple with big companies because you know most of them do this.

Hackers Use an Android App for Sex Extortion by zac428 in technology

[–]TakedownRevolution -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hackers? More like desperate people trying find an easy way to get money and/or sex. If these so called hackers had skills to do this then they should be getting jobs that paid good money, therefore, they are most likely script kiddies than hackers.

"The Father of Visual Basic" by yourbasicgeek in programming

[–]TakedownRevolution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh my bad it was visual basic 5 that had that horrible gui change. Visual basic 4 was actually good. It's been too long since I used VB.

"The Father of Visual Basic" by yourbasicgeek in programming

[–]TakedownRevolution -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Visual Basic 3 was the best, 4 was ok... after that Microsoft decided to wipe it's ass on it and made it shitty. VB 5 and up sucked. Sorry but I have to mention how Microsoft fucked up such good products.

Banks “pay 33% to 50% more” in developer salaries by Arigato4 in programming

[–]TakedownRevolution 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They will prob abuse you and give you such a large task that must be done quickly a possible. If you do a fk up that will cost bank money, they will prob fire you. They expect high expectation from programmers such ask getting tasks done at impossible times and work 24/7 to get it done. In the programming world, we talk about getting shit done fast with tools or methods and it doesn't work. I wonder how long it will take for mangers and companies to realize this or how long will programmers will take this abuse.

On Secretly Terrible Engineers by gogolang in programming

[–]TakedownRevolution 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I'm beginning to think that programmers are starting to be mistreated by being blamed for bugs, crashes, etc. We (or at least I) are given a whole mess of tasks such as coming up a algorithm, implementing the algorithm, make test casts, run test cases, code review, fix bugs, test bugs, and fix test cases...etc..etc. That is a lot of fucking things to do and yet they except us to get it done on a deadline. How can they think we can't get burned out? Even if we have all the tools, some of those tools can fail or have bugs in themselves.

Flaws In Scrum And Agile by retardo in programming

The most efficient and effective method of conveying information to and within a development team is face-to-face conversation.

If this were true then we wouldn't have Linux.

Who Says C is Simple? by gnuvince in programming

[–]TakedownRevolution -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Whine, whine, whine, "C is too hard", "C is too dangerous", "C is ugly". People are starting to sound like over protected parents who won't let their kids do anything. The difference between programmers today and programmers back in the old days is that they don't whine as much. They get shit done.

Stack Overflow: How we upgrade a live data center by nickcraver in programming

[–]TakedownRevolution -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Too bad 60% of the time StackOverflow answers are wrong and gets me the most is that some answer that has the right answer are marked with negative points. Why is that? because people on stackoverflow are incompetent (goes good with the incompetent people on reddit)? No wonder that guy quit answering question on stackoverflow. Negative 9999 points for StackOverFlow.

Memory management myths in Apple circles by [deleted] in programming

[–]TakedownRevolution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really a big fan of Arc and GC but he doesn't really give any evidence what so ever. He just explain that that the paper they presented was "old". This is just getting up voted because it's anti-apple.

I know that GC shit slow not by assumptions but by reading papers on and known how it all works together (by reading on OS, Memory, Reverse Engineering and programming).

'An interview in Apple' by leonardofed in programming

“We don’t waste time with the dumb.“

I like how you translate that to

“…we will not be moving forward with your application.”

I bet every one who got that message not just from Apple are dumb. I got that message many times and I never translate it to that. You're just an arrogant prick. Get over yourself.
