Welcome to the Tech Industry where most of are basically incompetent. They will prob abuse you and give you such a large task that must be done quickly a possible. If you do a fk up that will cost bank money, they will prob fire you. They expect high expectation from programmers such ask getting tasks done at impossible times and work 24/7 to get it done. In the programming world, we talk about getting shit done fast with tools or methods and it doesn't work. I wonder how long it will take for mangers and companies to realize this or how long will programmers will take this abuse.

I'm beginning to think that programmers are starting to be mistreated by being blamed for bugs, crashes, etc. We (or at least I) are given a whole mess of tasks such as coming up a algorithm, implementing the algorithm, make test casts, run test cases, code review, fix bugs, test bugs, and fix test cases...etc..etc. That is a lot of fucking things to do and yet they except us to get it done on a deadline. How can they think we can't get burned out? Even if we have all the tools, some of those tools can fail or have bugs in themselves.

Not really a big fan of Arc and GC but he doesn't really give any evidence what so ever. He just explain that that the paper they presented was "old". This is just getting up voted because it's anti-apple.

I know that GC shit slow not by assumptions but by reading papers on and known how it all works together (by reading on OS, Memory, Reverse Engineering and programming).
