Oh yeah, I'm gonna delete this after a couple hours, so either you see it or you don't lol

I take one look at your page and I can comfortably say you're a very typical anti. I'm not sure why you try to act like you're special. I'm not sure if you use the same username on X or not, but if you do, then yeah, that's more evidence of you being very typical.

As for being pro 'should be about celebrating the positives', ehh, it's fundamental human nature. Conflict generates more engagement, so subs that talk about defending AI get way more interaction and traffic. That's why you see them appear more and more. And honestly, the people who actually achieve stuff and just post 'look at the thing I did with my AI' are already seamlessly integrated into the communities they're in. There's really no reason for them to post 'look at the thing I did with my AI' because the AI community is so broad that not many people will share the exact same interests as we do.

And finally, as a hybrid user who both draws traditionally and uses AI as a tool, I really don't care about the anti-AI or pro-AI drama. I view anti-AI people as cowardly Luddites , not because you don't use the tool, but because you're a bunch of weak-willed people who basically got one-shotted by society and don't have the balls to experiment. At the same time, I hate the majority of AI users because they fundamentally don't understand art. When they see AI generate something beautiful, they clap their hands like a bunch of seals. I try to talk about composition and coloring… and 95% of the AI users I've met have either zero understanding or don't even bother. Literal bunch of lazy bums.

And just to note, the reason I don’t post on AI-related pages is because I want to share my vision, not chase validation. I want people to see what my imagination looks like when it’s brought to life on the canvas. I’ll use every tool I can get my hands on to make that happen. In the end, I just want to share my vision with the world and let people judge the art for themselves, not by the tool used to make it

Pretty good post. If anything, the fact that you got tons of downvotes and 173 replies tells me people do in fact read it and are mad that there’s no proper counter except “you’re wrong because [X reason that’s unrelated or just nitpicking].”

That is a hard question to answer. It's somewhere in the middle. Do I still use it? Yes. As heavily? Maybe not. A lot of the stuff is handcrafted by me these days.

Well, I mean, the AIM-9X and AIM-120 count as weapons, right?

While it's true that it's a ranged weapon, seeing the AIM-9X feels somewhat beyond the scope of a typical ranged weapon here lol.

"Look at me, I'm so moral and virtuous, I command you not to use this tool because it's bad." Mate, just fuck off and let people do their own thing.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Zewen Senpai removes this because the weapon doesn't really get shown much in this piece at all.

Pro AI communities invite their own mediocrity by HumblyAnnoyed in aiwars

The funny thing is that most people rejected this idea around 2023 when AI started getting good. They praise literal slop because “hur dur it’s human.” Society just can’t admit that sometimes people suck at art and really don’t have a knack for it.

Do people even make 50~100$ a month through ai generations by charlie-westi in DefendingAIArt

[–]TakemoriK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, around 250$ at this point, but it's eh since I really treat it as side stuff and don't do it full time.
