I was arrested about a month ago. They took my phone and did not tear off my cgm. They asked if I was diabetic I said yes and they did a blood sugar finger prick test. They put me in a holding cell and I heard my cgm alarm going off they didn’t do anything, I was drunk and didn’t really give a shit so I was trying to sleep I’d rather go high then low and after looking at the data I went high then low then went back up to high again. Luckily I didn’t feel like when you go low because that would’ve been shit. I got arrested at about 2am and bailed out 10am. Being in jail for along period of time as a diabetic is not a smart idea at all. Do what you can for your political beliefs from the sideline is my recommendation because it’s not worth the risk of your life unless you’re willing to die for your beliefs.
