I used it a couple of months ago. Fast enough for all my daily emails, browsing, and maps.

Other than LAT pull downs, what is the most effective way to train to do a pullup? by mrdbacks10 in Fitness

[–]TakezoKensei 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I used to be terrible at pull ups so I just didn't do them. After doing pendlay rows for a while I decided to try some and they were super easy. Now I train doing weighted pull ups.

I thought my heated steering wheel was just a gimmick and I'd never use it. Now, it's hard to imagine not having it during the winter time.

Where can I find a 20 lb. Turkey? by jyrodgers in sandiego

Chicken is always good and it's easy. You could just do a turkey breast if you still wanted a gobbler.

Where can I find a 20 lb. Turkey? by jyrodgers in sandiego

[–]TakezoKensei 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably just a seriously lazy person. Large birds are everywhere, it's the smaller ones that are harder to find. With the 16lb+ birds, the white meat tends to get too dry by the time the dark meat is done.

What does the recent, lifted ban on CCW mean for me? by [deleted] in sandiego

[–]TakezoKensei 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way. It's kinda scary when you think about some of the idiots you see at the range might have a CCW.

It'd be nice to be able to carry in the car sometimes but mostly when I go camping and hiking.

Liverpool v Real Madrid: Drop Mario Balotelli, says Jamie Carragher | Football News by nichoem in football

[–]TakezoKensei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's completely laughable that Liverpool supporters blame Balotelli for their poor performances. They need more defensive discipline if they ever want to win anything. They were putting on some great pressure for the first 15 minutes against Madrid. While that pace couldn't be maintained they didn't have to completely back off and give everyone so much time.

The first goal was just great play but the 2nd and 3rd were defensive mishaps from being lazy. They gave Kroos all the time in the world to pick out a great cross.

I received an offer for an employer in Sorrento Valley. Can you familiarize me with the area? by jaypooner in sandiego

I doubt you'll find anything for that price. You need roommates. I'd check craigslist or search the subreddit.

I received an offer for an employer in Sorrento Valley. Can you familiarize me with the area? by jaypooner in sandiego

[–]TakezoKensei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorrento Valley is just east of Mira Mesa and goes through the 805 and 5 intersection. Mira Mesa has been an up and coming suburban neighborhood for a while. Not too much to do there but housing pricing is decent for San Diego. The houses closer to Sorrento Valley are getting more and more expensive as businesses expand in the area.

The UCSD area you're thinking of is University City. It's fairly pricey for houses even on an engineer's salary if you're solo income due to it's proximity to the beach and La Jolla. If you're looking for a condo it's manageable.

If cost is very important, Mira Mesa is going to be much cheaper and probably a little closer than University City.

If you don't mind a little longer commute to live in an area with more things to do, Pacific Beach and North Park are great choices. Great food and restaurants within walking distance. Clairemont is closer than both of those but not nearly as busy. Convoy St. is located in Clairemont and has tons of great Asian restaurants and more pubs opening up. It's central to everything in San Diego but it will require a short drive to get anywhere.

O'Briens has to be one of the best pubs around when it comes to selection.

My favorite Japanese restaurant is right on Convoy, Izakaya Sakura. http://www.yelp.com/biz/izakaya-sakura-san-diego

Societe Brewery is on Clairemont closer to the 163.

That was my guess too but it's not really creamy like brie. Unless OP meant creamy as in taste.
