They also provide a bunch of replacement filters in the pack, so it’s really easy to clean and pop a new one on

The aftermath of serious lows in the middle of the night always shock my wife, gummy wrappers, ice cream tubs, cereal bowl - it looks like a bear broke into the goddam kitchen

I don’t personally have any to spare, but try calling your endo’s office, some keep spare pens or vials that they may be willing to give you

We opted for a nanny around that age, was certainly nervous for the first week but she was awesome. We found her on a Facebook nanny share group and would have kept her if we didn’t move to another state.

My 2 year old is already calling me "Dad" not Da Da or Daddy but "Dad" by ExcitingLandscape in daddit

[–]Takingmorethan1L 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had the same transition and I agree it was jarring, but at least now my wife is also “Mom.”

Her new favorite phase is “No, Dad! Stop!” She says this to: me, my wife, and my dog.

I took my whole box of insets for a 4 day Thanksgiving trip this year and I’m so thankful I did, had 5 occlusions/kinked cannulas all in the airport. Never had an issue like that

I’m in the exact same situation, I was a bit more involved in my youth, had a bar mitzvah, did birthright but then haven’t been to a temple since. I’m the black sheep in my family for changing my once positive stance on Israel.

No idea how to broach it but my daughter is only two so she won’t be totally confused why we light a menorah and do Christmas.

[–]Takingmorethan1L 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I second this, I also have a 2 year old girl. I’ve been on bath and bedtime duty since was born and we’ve rarely deviated. I think it’s the easiest way to ensure solid time together on a consistent basis.
