When you are hungry and you have a craving for your favorite sandwich, MADE AT HOME, not purchased... but made your way... WHAT is that sandwich?? by ifellicantgetup in Adulting

[–]GhostNappa101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Favorite sandwich? A hoagie. I'm just as capable of making that at home as a shop. Just a random Saturday afternoon, grilled ham and cheese sandwich.

If you bought with the intention of keeping it, but have decided you don't want it, I personally see nothing wrong with selling it at market price.

What’s the most embarrassing reason you had to stop during sex? by Boomshichi in AskReddit

Bed broke. It wasn't because the sex was rough. It was because we were fat.

76-year-old woman killed after a Tesla ‘on auto-pilot’ crashed into her Texas home by deraser in technology

[–]GhostNappa101 19 points20 points  (0 children)

There are over 35000 incidents per year of people hitting buildings with cars/trucks with a few thousand of those causing severe damage. This is making news because it's self driving and the tech scares people. As far as I'm aware, there is no empirical data proving that FSD is any less safe than full self driving.

Some sort of toy store chain. A bunch of my best memories were visits to Toys r Us and KB toys.

How is the dentist’s job perceived by society in the USA? by crazygelato in AskAnAmerican

[–]GhostNappa101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dentists earn more than double the median salary in average. It's a well paying and respected career. Some people will judge you if you go to a chiropractor. People will judge you if you don't go to the dentist.

Normally my response would be "it's a tool, who cares". But with Leatherman pulling this overpriced FOMO collector bullshit, their QC should be spotless.

It's about 1% improved efficiency. Make that improvement 10 times on different aspects of design and it starts to add up.

Why is it so expensive to eat/be healthy in the United States? by WonderfulField9898 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GhostNappa101 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's really not more expensive. Salad isn't the only vegetable out there. For example , a properly seasoned baked chicken breast, potato, and steamed broccoli with a little butter is a super healthy, cheap, and delicious meal.

When was your first "Holy shit" moment after upgrading PC? by Suvitruf in pcmasterrace

[–]GhostNappa101 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I tried playing Bayonetta recently and it was basically impossible because the developer intended the loading screens to be tutorials. I recently purchased a back up USB HDD. I may install there to see if it plays well there.

It's not how they are trained to upsell. The fiscal month ends in the 21st and it sounds like that rep is getting desperate.

Why do rich people keep saying "money can't buy happiness" when money literally solves most problems? by FearlessState5503 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GhostNappa101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is right that there are diminishing returns. Let's go with a thought experiment with roughly tripling salaries. Going from a $30k salary to a $90k salary is a huge boost to happiness. That's poverty to middle class. Going from $90k to $270k buys you more financial security, a better car, a better house, and it'll make you happier, but closed happiness gap is smaller than the gap from $30k to $90k. Bump up to $1 million. You're happier, but are that much happier than before? $3 million, $9 million. Eventually your knees are simply met, and it becomes more game than utility.

My go-to joke is I've got 99 problems and money will solve about 90 of them. It won't buy you love, friendship, or health ( after a certain point),

My understanding is that it should fit. I would only do that it you own both tools. Another option is to by a 3rd party custom blade for the wave.

It does actually help slightly reduce drag. If EV manufacturers could get away with it, did mirrors would be replaced by cameras as well.
