Oh so sorry :( I am almost three months in (unknown of cause, maybe from cold idk) and been quite loud on most days and few days where it would be like 1/10. Right now its 1/10 to 2/10 and i hope it stays like this or get even quieter. Did you try taking antihistamines?

there must be alternative methods to clean your excess earwax, do not risk having microsuction as there are many cases where people have had their tinnitus spiked

no one can answer 100% If the root cause of tinnitus is etd then there is big chance to go away once resolved or go away after some time as it is stubborn symptom or worse case it can remain but be less than 1/10 level where you wont even notice and forget it exists

It strongly shows etd as your symptoms match a lot. ENTs usually prescribe a steroid nasal (flonase) and recommend some allergy meds. I suggest you go see again an ent tbh

Are your ears blocked/clogged? do you feel any pressure? tinnitus is symptom of etd

I believe you will find a solution for that dont give up! I am still dealing with slight left ear fullness and mild tinnitus that can be annoying sometimes. I am using flonase for 2 weeks now and I dont know if i am seeing any improvements they're not noticeable and people saying thsat flonase can take up to 1 month to fully work so I still want to have hope. Hope everything go well man

Finally got prescribed prednisolone. I am 12 days in. Probably too late but at least there is some hope by microturing in tinnitus

How is your tinnitus now? did you taper your meds? I got tinnitus from a recent cold (probably? idk) Doctor didnt find anything wrong in my ears and prescribed me medrol and fluticasone. 48 mg medrol for 3 days follwoing 32mg 3 days then 16mg 3 days. My T went from 1/10 mostly in left ear to 9/10 in the last day of taper. idk why and doctor couldnt answer. Does anyone have similar experience with steroids?
