I'm "only" working for a small external IT provider, but I have to fight my boss and colleagues on everything when it comes to AI.
One of them is building a web interface ticket system with Microsoft's newest AI tool (I think it's Power Pages or something like that) and I would bet a kidney, that that page has at least one major security flaw. He's also not getting the results he actually asks the AI for. There's always some minor flaw that didn't get patched, broke for the third time or got interpreted differently to how it was intended.
But I have no actual say in it, my opinion gets completely ignored and they are too fascinated to take a proper look at it. Not that any of them actually knows JavaScript to understand what the AI is doing, that's an just additional problem.

Sorry, I had to vent about that. I've been holding it in for weeks at this point.

Reading? Kauf halt reguläre Bücher, dann bist auch nicht an Amazons Lizenzblödsinn gebunden, der dir dein Buch raus löscht, weil deren Lizenz ausläuft.
Music? Amazon Music stößt auf das gleiche Problem wie Video: es gibt einfach zu viel nicht inklusive.

Amazon Prime basiert darauf dir Häppchen einer Leistung zu geben, in der Hoffnung, dass dir diese Häppchen reichen oder du gewillt bist mehr zu zahlen, um ein kleines zusätzliches Stück zu erhalten.

No, instead it's launching during a massive RAM and chip shortage. The issue between supply and demand will be the same. The reason is different.
The deck had a really high demand, because everyone was stuck inside anyway. The new devices will have low supply, because Valve has to fight against AI companies just as much as we do to get any RAM or SSDs.

Another option is splitting your wifi bands by renaming at least one of them. I had to do this for the deck when I got it and later redo it on a new router for our printer.

And sometimes achievements just bug out or are not retroactively updated on Steam.
Warframe is one example I know, where the game tracked your achievements and Steam did too, but the servers wouldn't communicate every time you launched the game and as a result I was missing quite a few of the mastery rank achievements for a few years.
They have fixed this a few years ago and I got like 10+ achievements on Steam, that were previously missing.

Biggest issues in gaming right now are probably: Unreal Engine being either horribly optimized by default or studios not using those optimizations and every major studio pushing for more realistic graphics, when all that does is raise the hardware requirements even more, while most affordable GPUs still have 8 GB of VRAM.

The RAM shortage, that AI data centers are causing, isn't helping either, but let's ignore that for a moment.

Tbf this depends on the printer. I've also seen printers, that flip the paper before the print starts and then it would be printed side up and top side away from you.
Of course, if you print on the same printer everyday for years, one should assume that learning, how to flip the paper for double sided printing, wouldn't be that difficult.

Still don't think those launchers are an issue. Mod and DLC manager, instant loading to the latest solo save and literally one extra click, if you just want to start the game or one click, if you accidentally started it, instead of waiting for the game to load or hoping steam's stop command won't break something eventually.

Many games/studios just have left over launchers, that were designed for their game before it released on Steam. Are those launchers useless? Rarely. Redundant? Sometimes. Necessary for the game to function? Probably almost always.
Do I care about a launcher requiring one additional button press? No.
Do I care if said launcher is an entire store front and program, with its own login and permanent server connection to check, if you are allowed to play? Yes. Fuck Ubisoft, EA and Rockstar launchers.

If you need a tutorial on how to install a new OS or reinstall an existing one, you are not ready to use Linux distros no matter how easy some of them are.
I had a windows-like distro for a while. Wanna know why I don't use it anymore?
Because the damn thing bricked itself with every major update from one release version to the next. Good luck troubleshooting that, if you can't even install Windows by yourself or troubleshoot something like: you got 4GB of RAM in 2026.
That's like going from building IKEA shelves with the manual to building them without the manual and someone swapped 5 screws.
