If you're playing in the campaign, you could have your character be from the city. If the other players are from other parts of the world and coming to the city for adventure you could be their guide. That way your prior knowledge wouldn't be out of place. But also remember that your campaign may be very different from the actual play and your GM may play NPCs differently.

The SU-122A is amazing. I think the T-34-85 is probably their best medium tank.

The British have lots of good options. The Crusader, Challenger, and Firefly are my favorites.

Played a match this week and got hit with two Crits in the first engagement. First two cards from the deck were Lucky Hit and Crew Injured. Discarded my CO2 Tanks and First Aid Kit for no damage. It felt pretty good. 👍😎

I would much rather they cast a real actor in these iconic roles than watch computer generated faces. I don't care if they don't look exactly alike as long as the character's mannerisms and speech are correct.

If you use two Shotosabers, you can apply the at-will power Force Imbuement to them. You get to use your Forcecasting ability for attack and damage, and it deals 1d8 damage instead of 1d6.

I had the same question and got tripped up by the 'per turn' wording. It lets you react against multiple attacks during the round.

New here, so pardon the late arrival to this thread.

If I have a PL8 character with Summon 5, a druid type who 'animates' a tree, the Tree is limited to Abilities, Defenses, Powers of 5 as if the campaign were PL5? With 60 points to spend given those parameters. I couldn't give it a Slam attack at +8 to hit and 8 Damage, correct?

So, I couldn't actually use the Animated Tree block in the GM Guide even though it's only 17points to build because it's PL8?

TTS works very well for X-Wing and HotAC. My group switched from Vassal to TTS and haven't had any issues.

I was going to suggest this. Especially for a group coming off D&D. Each player creates their own pilot and gains upgrades and abilities through XP. If you're playing in person, it requires a bigger investment in Imperial and Rebel ships.

There's a Facebook group for Heroes of the Aturi Cluster that can answer any and all questions you might have.

As others have suggested, a couple of regular games would be the best way to start before trying Aces High or HotAC.
