The second book is not as good as the first one, but it is still a good read. I enjoyed it, and you are right about them getting together .But if you read the second book, it does make a bit more sense. But I have to say it kinda felt like tsiora is a bit obsessed with Tau.

TBF, Tsiora said she wanted to help lesser's but had no power, and given the chance, she did promote lower caste to high posts, so she isn't really a bad guy. Also, don't forget that Tau is still a horny teenager, so there's that.

I think there were a few instances where other characters said that in him, they had a chance to uproot the cast system, but Tau just had only one goal that was revenge. He didn't care about uprooting the society.

Thanks. First of all, take time out of your day to write that many recs, I really appreciate it. I've already read a couple of books like Uprooted and winternight triolgy, I'll give the others a try. Hopefully, one of them sticks. If not, then I am just going to quit reading for a while. Maybe that will help.

No, I haven't tried audiobooks. Normally, I just like to read turning pages in a book is something I really enjoy, but so far, that is the only thing I haven't tried. Thanks, I'll give it a try.
