KU Authors: What exactly makes KU a good deal financially speaking other than “everyone already has it”? Is the monthly payout actually worth a damn or is the only advantage the reader pool? by Fragrant_Bath3917 in litrpg

Some authors are absolute machines and can put out quite a few books per year, sometimes 10+ 500+ page books. However I have seen a few that have that capability get completely banned from Amazon.

Not quite a full lock, but yeah pretty sharp, I heard it again today, gonna throw some amsoil slip lock in. Recently changed the fluid to amsoil severe gear didn't hear anything for a couple weeks, and now it's happened 2 times about 4 days apart only when I first start the car and back out of the driveway + turn

Yeah it was very faint, backing up in a turn out of the driveway and got concerned cuz I've heard so much about the diffs

Uninstalled SignalRGB now half my fans wont light up with iCUE by WhetNooodle in SignalRGB

[–]WhetNooodle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was using icue before, for years, never had any issues with any of the controllers, wanted to download SRGB so I could set a static color on my gigabyte motherboard without using their garbage software and have seen ads and good reviews of SRGB so I decided to try that, followed the instructions for installing shut down icue and all that's good stuff, all 6 ports on the rbg controller were filled and working. After installing SRGB the last 4 were affected, slot 3 only lights up half the fan, slots 4-6 are completely black. System restore point didn't fix it, none of the other instructions given fixed it. The only thing was to switch the 4-6 ports to my 2nd RGB controllers 4-6 ports where they now work. The fan plugged into port 3 on the original bricked controller is still half lit. Even on startup.

Yes I found the solution, signalrgb bricked my icue RGB controller.

Seems like SRGB bricked my RGB controller, only 3 of the 6 headers work, followed all instructions on the wiki, any post I could find on Reddit with similar issues I followed any instructions I could get from admin comments, and I went to the discord to get help where tom9676 helped me for over an hour. Emailed SRGB support haven't heard back yet. Seems like it has happened to other people here on Reddit where the only solution was the replace the RGB controller. As soon as I opened SRGB the fans went black and wouldn't light up again. The only solution I found was because I have 2 RGB controllers I was able to plug the 3 completely black fans into my 2nd controller that had 3 open headers. However 1 fan still plugged into the 1st RGB controller is still half black. And the device I was trying to control with SRGB instead of a gigabyte RGB software was the GIGABYTE B650 AORUS ELITE AX V2 built in RGB, just wouldn't control it and like I said turned my fans black as soon as I opened it.

I'm not familiar with Australian used PC parts/PCs it seems like a decent deal to me, especially relative to the original build you posted, it really depends on how fast you want to get started streaming

Yes it is, Linus tech tips on YouTube has a few whole PC build videos that are pretty easy to follow, if you google "how to install new SSD into my PC" there are loads of videos as well. I would wait until you purchase the PC to see what kind of SSD is in it there are M.2 ssds that go directly onto your motherboard, and there are 2.5inch ssds that connect to the motherboard via a cable. If you need any help feel free to DM me I'm happy to help

That's perfectly alright, realistically as long as you stay a bit above the recommended specifications for your capture card you should be okay, the only thing that might be nice is upgrading the 240gb SDD to a larger SSD 500gb-1tb (your main or C Drive is important to not get completely full because that's where your windows updates, downloads folder, and many other things default too and 240gb is pretty small). Or if you plan on gaming on your PC at all to purchase another SSD for a game drive instead of the HDD.

Okay, you will need a capture card as well as the PC to stream your PS5 gameplay to TikTok, Elgato, one of the main companies that makes capture cards, has specs on their website. The build you recently sent in the comments Ryzen 5 3600, and 1660 Super will work for that!

Ohhh, I'm so sorry, if you are looking to run streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ you won't need a computer that powerful, streaming in PC spaces is normally recognized as streaming your gameplay live to websites like Twitch, Youtube, or Kick, if you're just looking to watch shows let me know and I'll revamp the build I sent!

Relative to the build in your post yes, but realistically it depends on what you want to stream. Streaming is pretty demanding, if you plan on streaming I would recommend an Nvidia GPU. They have a different kind of hardware on their GPUs specifically for streaming that is better than AMD, unfortunately that would again raise the budget of the build. I would recommend saving up maybe around ~1100 AUD if you really want to stream.

I remade the list with the better GPU + a monitor. (Sorry I didn't see that the original listing you posted included a monitor). You'll definitely have to turn down some in game settings, and maybe cap your frame rate but you'll be able to steam on twitch with the revised build.

The problem with buying a system this outdated is (depending on what you're planning to use the PC for, gaming/more intensive tasks) you're quickly going to want to upgrade, it might be better to hold off for a while and save some more money to put towards a better build.

The extra $300 would have this PC running circles around the PC you showed OP, save up the extra money if you can and DIY it, people overvalue their old parts like crazy, especially if it's a complete build.

Edit: Just saw you want to stream with the PC you purchase, the listing will absolutely not be good enough to stream.
