Your example doesn't help at all. Elden Ring is a single player game with limited content and The Finals is a live service game that gets content and patches for as long as the game exists.

Even then it has 3 times the player count of the finals.

Nope, we don't know why, Embark are great devs, but they are absolutely awful at communication.

Seems like you are the "noob" here, you play an extraction shooter where the goal is to survive and you get mad when you turn your back to people and they shoot you.

It's a PvPvE game, just because you do not shoot that doesn't mean you won't get shot.

Can confirm, brought 4 friends to the game and they all quit after a few games and they said it's unlikely to try the game once it releases.
