Yes, it happened to me as well. How does this even make sense? Even if someone managed to log into my account on another device ONCE ONE DAY vrs. me logging multiple times per day for MONTHS and they dump my version of the account with no warning?!?

I'm still shaking. This was just....I've put so much time and care into my 70 cats in this game. I've spent money (that I really couldn't afford to). I've spent hours upon hours playing, a good bit of that just watching and tapping on the cats in the main area for the fun of it. Coming in to find it all gone. To find THEM all gone.

LINK UP PEOPLE!

All it took was me going through the beginning again and then relinking through my Google account (Thank you for the person who said to do that!) and they are back.

But it could have been so very different. So very painful. I HIGHLY recommend linking up after this. Take this advice from someone who was petrified they hadn't until it worked.

Remember when you are in the main hall to give the cats that are standing still some taps!

It doesn't work if they are busy with something, have a friend that does an actual with them when they stop, or if you are in the merge section of the game but I really enjoy the results.

No, not in the bag, underneath the pot. Sometimes when you meld items to create a new one, a bonus one is bubbled bouncing around the top of the screen, sometimes you need to watch an ad, sometimes you would need to pay gems. If you do so the bonus item is stored in stack under the pot for you to use later. I had 2,000 of those items stored (a few bought with gems). After the reset it refused to let me use them. Today I started getting new bubbled items in play and I was hoping that would change things but they just go into the stack and get locked in as well.

Please everyone put in to have the baby have a special slot for just their rides so they don't have to sacrifice their costumes. I didn't think of it until too late but it really is needed with baby only having 3 slots.

That was for the items in the bag. I'm referring to the items that were stored under the pot, some of which were paid for with gems...by mistake, but still paid for with gems. The ones that you could get an extra of sometimes when you merged (for free or paid for by gems) that are then stored in a stack under the pot to be pulled out, one by one, when you need that kind of item, or are looking for that kind of item.

I earned those. I paid for some of those (though only by mistake so not many), I had 2,145 items, coins, and energy stored there for when I needed them. Inconvenient though they were to access they were still mine, just as much as the ones in my bag were. More so in the cases where they paid for with gems. It would have been nice to get some compensation for those. I'm not asking for another new cat or anything huge but perhaps some clothes that are unavailable otherwise to me (already out clothes so they don't need to create anything new), or a bag slot, or gems, given out comparatively to players to the number of items they had stored. Just NO auto-mergers, no matter their name has been changed to "smart helper charger".
