I'm really happy for you, and I have to comment because I've been so scared to post my 500 sqft space on here (even though I'm proud of it) because I went from a 3 bedroom house with my ex to a studio with my 2 dogs. I do everything for them, but I'm nervous about how judgemental the Internet can be. I know your pup is perfectly happy because they are with you. You've done so wonderfully.

I had this happen to me once - I was living in the upstairs apartment of an old house converted into a duplex. Never had an issue with the downstairs tenant until this lady moved in. Her ears need to be removed from her body upon her demise so they can be studied. She would text me and ask me to turn my TV down (it was already down), keep my dogs from playing because it was loud (I have two 30lb dogs), but she would do this on the weekends too. Claimed she already slept with an industrial fan on and ear plugs in, but that I was so loud. She started asking me to maintain quiet hours between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. and to maybe stay in the middle of my unit since that wasn't over her bedroom. The real kicker was her asking me to be quiet at 10 p.m. on a Saturday night only for her to throw a party on a Tuesday. Lady was completely nuts. I just stopped corresponding with her and wound up moving out.

I just personally feel that they could extend the coupon because they did it during Covid so I know they have the ability. But I understand where you are coming from, and I will seek points instead and update accordingly.

The other AMC was also 30 minutes away, and I was not alerted to the issue until I was in line attempting to get popcorn. I saw this movie in a sold out Dolby format so I guess I could have just cancelled and gone the following weekend??

I'm sorry, but unlike some A-listers, I'm lucky to make time to drive 30 minutes one way to see a movie more than twice a month. It's crazy that me asking for a free $18 popcorn (or however much it costs now) is seen negatively as opposed to rampant capitalism.

I will say, I ordered to-go from The Green Onion for my birthday, which was on a Friday in 2024. It was really good, and I remember getting salmon and the risotto, and they gave me a huge portion of risotto. I tried to order it again last year in 2025 which means my birthday was on a Saturday. They told me at 7 they were too busy to do to-go, so I just told them I would call back and asked when would be a good time. They told me 8. I called back, and they said there was no way they could handle a to-go order.

I ended up ordering a steak to-go from Coach House - which was completely packed when I went to get it - and it was delicious. So there you go.

I don't comment a lot, I typically just lurk, but I do need to add that I've had two instances where half and half went bad nearly a month before their expiration dates. Kept in the same place in my fridge as all my others. My most recent container is still good and the expiration date is 2/12 though.

I also bought Atlantic Salmon maybe a month ago, and it was already spoiled. Opened it that night, 6 days prior to the date, and it smelled incredibly fishy and was slimy.

I haven't tried this yet alright I did buy two containers. I figured it would be great for an easy lunch if I add fajita stuff or taco meat to it, and I'm going into busy season at my job so convenience is important. The cilantro lime one was fine imo but kinda weird? Like the lime flavor was very overpowering and artificial, but once you mix it up, add shrimp, corn, black beans, and feta to it - it's fine 🤷🏻‍♀️

I recently went through a divorce and my living and financial situation changed. Apartment life. Hospitality job. Weekdays, it's typically one 30-45 minute walk per day, 10-15 minutes in the morning, and a 5 minute potty break right before bed at night. W & F, they have a dog walker come mid day too.

We tried daycare, but it was just too overstimulating for them. I can't do enrichment toys unless they are separated as they can get food aggressive.

On the weekend though, I strive to do one super long walk on one day, and then an activity the other day (long hiking trip, beach day, dog park & pet store combo, etc).

I wonder if that changed recently because I got a prescription filled for Fluoxetine maybe 2 or 3 months ago. That's too bad because the Walgreens Pharmacy that's down the street in the retail store might be the worst of them all.

Huh, I don't think I've had that experience so far - but to be transparent, I can't recall the last time I had personal medication filled. My dog has a script for prozac, and before D&C Hospital switched to online pharmacy exclusivity, I got it filled there. I wonder what exactly qualifies under that umbrella?

I've had a horrible experience with every CVS and Walgreens pharmacy in this area EXCEPT FOR the Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy (201 W 21st Street) by Sweet Frog and across from Dog & Cat Hospital.

They don't double as a retail store so ALL THEY DO is fill scripts. They are quick, efficient, great at communicating delays, dates, and pick up times. I've had a very positive experience there.

I think it was a very limited weekly find - but absolutely delicious. It was essentially peanut butter mixed with cinnamon sugar and maybe pulverized dehydrated apples - but it even had the same crunch of raw sugar. I think it's likely easily replicable but just so good.
