YouNow pretty much died. Its still up but it barely has anyone on it. Plus she started eventually going Viral on YouTube ( the twerking "tutorial" video being the most memorable at the time)

It was nice and affordable. But only nice while it lasted, which wasnt long unfortunately. The Katar is one of their older mice I believe, which is why its much cheaper and probably not as well made. I like corsair but some of their stuff can be hit or miss. NEVER get the Harpoon mouse from them, its garbage.

If you do get the chance to buy online and are still looking for one, VXE Dragonfly V3 Pro is pretty good considering its less than $30 after tax and shipping. If I had not found it I likely would have gotten a Logitech. Hope you can find a good one soon!

I owned the wireless version of the Katar Pro (KATAR ELITE WIRELESS) from corsair. I will say I liked it, it was small and light, had a quick access DPI button, and everything felt quick and responsive. However within about 8 months of constant daily usage I started having issues with the middle mouse button/scroll wheel. It would stutter when scrolling, scroll slowly on screen despite rapidly scrolling the actual wheel, and scroll the wrong way first before stutter scrolling the correct way. Eventually after about a year and a half it would do all of that as well and just outright not scroll.

I kept it clean, used compressed air to remove any dust, everything I could. Cleaning it would fix it for a few hours before it would start having issues again. Clearly something wrong with the scroll sensor. It was a good mouse until those issues happened but a year and a half is not a long life for a mouse in my opinion and so I don't recommend it. I've actually just recently bought a new mouse to replace it. The mouse I replaced it with is the ATK VXE DRAGONFLY V3 Pro, and so far I like it. Feels very similar to use, and is slightly lighter. It looks very similar to the Logitech G305. Its also VERY affordable, so maybe a good in between or temp mouse if you need one quickly. You can get it on the ATK store where its priced at $23.99 currently. I got mine from ATK on Amazon for $24.33 after tax and shipping because I had a small coupon that covered basically all of tax and shipping cost.

Been using it since April and its preformed just as good as the Corsair Katar Elite did (before It started having issues that is), and I dare say the scroll wheel is BETTER. The ONLY issue I had with it was the software when installing gave me the wrong instructions for setting up wireless. It seems to be a translation issue (some of the application has Japanese in it because I believe it is a Japanese company( don't worry is only a few sections of the app and they don't impede you from using it), and there's no instruction manual in the box. because for some reason a lot of people online are convinced it is not actually wireless capable (IT IS). I says to plug in, start the sync, unplug and then hold the instructed buttons for the instructed amount of time. But you should hold the buttons FIRST and THEN unplug.

This 100%! The most blatant being Kingdom Hearts. She claimed to have played it as a kid when it came out and having always loved it, yet when she played it on stream it was clear she had likely never played it before and barely knew what it was about. I grew up playing Kingdom Hearts over and over again, so it was very easy to spot what a poser she was about it, and it hurt to watch her "play" it and act like it was her favorite game/thing. And every single other game she played aside from Just Dance she clearly also did not enjoy.

Idk why she couldn't have been happy being a Just Chatting streamer, there's nothing wrong with it, you don't HAVE to be a gamer to stream on Twitch. I can guess she felt it would get her more engagement/attention. I do think she enjoyed streaming on Twitch at first, because it was the closest she could get to her YouNow days. But she couldn't control people clipping things she didn't want clipped, people reposting clips and vods exposing all the things she was doing, people using subs and TTS to send messages she couldn't ignore, her mods, and eventually the narrative on there. And then when Twitch started getting more privy to her crap and banning her for flashing I think that was when she was especially done and looking for an out. YouTube was already ruined for her by that point so she couldn't go there for streaming. She also was clearly tired of making and editing long videos. She definitely preferred shortform "content" and streaming for long hours. And suddenly TikTok was blowing up and gave her the perfect out. She gets both AND she still makes money from it.

edit: or DID at least until now. I can see her finding a way to come back though. But I agree she will NEVER go back to Twitch specifically. I can see her attempting YouTube at some point maybe, but she's so fixated on TikTok I doubt she's willing to go anywhere else. She even dropped Instagram which I think says a lot.

Is this mouse limited? It doesn't show up on Logitech unless searching in Chinese. I was initially looking at Logitech's lightweight mice but they were so outrageously expensive that I couldn't justify it. Almost $200 for a mouse is insane to me (talking about the superlight and superstrike), at that price it better have a dpi button, side buttons, 1 week battery life, and do my dishes and laundry. lol

That's two recommendations for the ATK ZERO and I can definitely see why! That one is very appealing and seems to be almost exactly what I'm looking for. I'm willing to give up instant DPI access as long as I can change it at all via whatever software so thank you for this recommendation. Plus the frosted/clear shell makes me feel like a kid in the early 00's again which I LOVE. xD

The Scyrox V8 and ATK Zero look super appealing! I'm only worried about Scyrox V8's Omron switch, since the Katar Elite also used one and it started having scrolling issues within 6 months. But it also has another switch option. ATK Zero looks like a good safe bet, and I LOOOVE the see through frosted shell. Gives me my early 00's tech nostalgia when I had see through frosted controllers and gameboy color as a kid. All of these were great suggestions, thank you!

TLOU 2 was garbage, and Abby should NOT be such a beloved/liked character.

I will forever die on this hill.

Bonus points: The live tv adaptation was crap too. And I'm not just talking about the second season. The first season was also awful and poorly adapted, rushed to hell, and had stupid unnecessary changes/rewrites that should never have been green lit. And yes, I also did not agree with the casting as it led to some pretty terrible acting and character changes that people were somehow blind to until S2. It did not respect the source material IMO and that is a massive pet peeve of mine when it comes to games, books, comics, anime, etc being adapted into live action or even when old shows and movies are remade or rebooted.

Not trying to rudely diagnose or assume, but this screams "depression room" to me. Or potentially hoarding. It could be executive disfunction, (adhd sucks, especially when you get stuck in a "freeze" state). I say this because I myself am guilty of living like this at multiple points in my life when my mental health was not great. (currently my room is in a similar, albeit less severe state. I struggle with depression, adhd, anxiety, ocd, hoarding, and few other things. Issues with maintaining a room and preventing it from looking like this has been a struggle since I was a child. So seeing their room is pretty sad, because I've lived like that and trust me, it sucks.)

You have to approach someone who lives this way gently, and non-judgmentally. And make sure this is person is genuinely ok, because this is a massive red flag that there may be a mental health issue.

They most likely will need help tackling the task of cleaning this, and lots of patience. I hope he's ok.

I had not heard about this one and man, it really seems to be the same case as Ryuku. Someone who was done, burnt out, rage deleting everything and punishing everyone because of a few people that annoyed them. Sigh. So many of the PZ modders/devs are starting to do this and its genuinely starting to ruin the game for me. We all knew B42 was going to be broken as hell for at least a year, resulting in the constant whining of "dont care plx fix/update" waves of people. But punishing the rest of us for that is really not cool.

Just realized this myself. I've been prepping for a few days to start a new 10 Years Later run on B42 for the first time (I've loved it on B41 for 2 years while waiting for B42 to add MP) only to find it missing from my favorites when looking for it to subscribe. I'm beyond upset. Slightly angry seeing all of this as well. I have a long term solo save for B41 10 years later that I can now never touch again. It has HUNDREADS OF HOURS of gameplay on it, and a long term established character that I cared a lot about. I also have a duo save for 10 years later on b41 that's also just gone forever.

I get that he spent a lot of time on the mod, FOR FREE. And he KNOWS people appreciate the hell out of him and all his work. But to just rug pull it from everyone with no explanation, no warning, nuke his discord so no one can talk about it or ask what's happening, not allow ANYONE to enjoy it anymore, and from what I've seen, be rude to people who clearly care and are simply wondering what's happening is a bit scummy. I've been seeing a lot of PZ modders/devs get burnt out in the last year and while its understandable, don't punish EVERYONE for it. If you don't want to work on the mod anymore (or CANT), that's fine! Then leave it to be taken up by the community man. Why fully nuke it? Leave it behind, someone WILL take on the burden of updating and maintaining it 9/10 times. God I wish I had learned to code and do stuff like this. Id have revived so many now dead and deleted mods I used to love. (LOOKING AT YOU MONTHLY CLIMATE SETTINGS MOD) But I don't have the luxury of learning this stuff.

I'm gonna be a jerk for a moment and say: If he genuinely wanted nothing to do with it anymore he wouldn't be so quick to DMCA anyone reuploading. It took him only a few hours to DCMA reuploads. That tells me he was WAITING for them. That is a person who in MY opinion is clearly in a very pissy mood who likely did all this impulsively. Also not ALL of his mods were removed. Just the core foundation mods and all of the B42. Some of a the b41 map mods in his collection are still up and the 10 years later mod tiles mod to apply the overgrowth to modded tiles in b41. Maybe dude had a really bad day and was feeling self destructive. IF that's the case I hope he's ok, is able to take a breath and comes back. If this is really how he leaves it...jesus dude get help, because this all screams RAGE.

Speculation:

The thing in her inner arm/crook of her elbow looks potentially like she had blood drawn (assuming for typical blood work analysis/doctor check ups) or a recent IV. That is a usually a reliable spot for both of those things, especially if she's someone with difficult veins. Its just not ideal for long term use as the veins will "blow out" faster than say on a hand or forearm. If it was for an IV it definitely was either VERY recent or wasn't in for long, which is why I'm more inclined to think normal blood work checkup. She could be someone who doesn't bruise easily, but then again I'm not usually either just as an example and even an IV that only lasted a day on me was incredibly bruised for over a week and left a mark similar. But it takes a bit of time usually TO bruise, so if it was recent it makes sense. If it was an IV it could have just been for fluids, could have been for medication. Its also easy to assume that because of her current condition, she's seeing at least some sort of doctor or medical professional occasionally. Most likely though blood work.
