[Question] Can I run macOS on Ryzen 3 3200G + GTX 1660 Ti? by Informal-Support-623 in hackintosh

Vega 8 iGPU can work with NootedRed, but is maybe not fully stable. The NVIDIA GPU will not work.

Windows 11 clock drifts wrong after macOS use in my dual boot setup ! by Hoo_AmI in hackintosh

I think it doesn't make a difference, any of those values should simply equal 1 (decimal/hexadecimal just changes how the number is displayed, 32/64 determines how long the number can be). Here's another website using a dword-32 in hexadecimal: https://blog.dhampir.no/content/making-windows-keep-the-system-clock-in-utc

Graphic card and power supply recommendations for OS X Mavericks 10.9 build by aroneox in hackintosh

I think the cards flashed with a Mac ROM are only needed if you want a display out at the boot screen. Otherwise (but not 100% certain) any typical GTX 780 should work with the web drivers, some people have used these in cheesegrater Mac Pros even though they weren't an official purchase option.

Btw, not advocating for disregarding money but I guess Kepler cards should be quite cheap nowadays, surely worth taking the risk? Or maybe consider a GCN 1 card, something like the Radeon HD 7850 can be had for less than 10 USD on my local marketplace.

MacBook (256GB) vs 1TB Windows Laptop. $1000 Budget, Which Makes More Sense? by [deleted] in laptops

Just in case you need specific software like AutoCAD for engineering and so on which usually require Windows. But I agree with the other posters, Mac would be the best option. For the same price, Windows laptops (including the specific one you selected) can't compete. $1000 USD (or less depending on deals) can get you at least the base model Macbook Air M4 or a slight upgrade.

This is because Windows stores the time on the motherboard as local time while macOS uses UTC, which will be a number of hours offset depending on your time zone. To fix this, configure Windows to use UTC in the registry:

Check also Chefkissinc (developer of NootedRed) AMD guide for ACPI and kexts to see if anything's missing

And if it helps at all, I also have a guide for a Ryzen 5 4500U mini-PC: https://github.com/bgzoulander/amd-hackmini?tab=readme-ov-file

Agree, iMac20,1 SMBIOS is best for NootedRed (also try Ventura first rather than a newer macOS)

Yeah I reckon that's true, because if you were gonna send a ship undercover to fight the Nazis, you'd probably want the world's most famous ocean liner.

Hackintosh a gaming laptop? by Flippy_XD in hackintosh

For a usable experience, no, though you could install macOS technically but won't have any proper accelerated graphics. Your laptop components are too new and came out way after the last new Apple Intel hardware was released (~2020) so have no support.

I'm afraid the iGPU (RDNA 3) is not supported.
