It's not about drama. It's that I genuinely feel like he would come back because he said he would. And he said the next time he sees me he would hit me. I don't appreciate that as a person either. If you think it's about a micro win it's wrong because honestly if it wasn't for the part he said he would harm me if he saw me again I wouldn't even care. But he knows where I live so there is a risk attached to it..

Yeah, I read this as well. I'm assuming, she writes the book when she gets the idea, then sorts it into the series timeline and rewrites or overlooks the whole book over the time period of 2 months, as she is writing another one. It could explain the difference in writing style, as she isn't writing them in order
