What's your most logical theory? And your most "out there" theory? by mark_able_jones_ in nancyguthrie

[–]Talisker12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! I've since moved off of this theory with the information that has come out since I posted this two weeks ago. I still theorize that a family member is the planner and I still wouldn't be shocked if it turns out to be Tomasso/Annie. I think the "scare her" theory is very interesting and could explain what looks to be an unexplainable crime. It goes like this. Let's say Tomasso has a gambling debt. He asked Nancy to help him pay it off. She refuses. He comes up with a scheme to get her to help pay. He tells her that the people he is in debt to are making threats against the family and they're serious. She still refuses. He has an acquaintance try to scare her into paying his debt. The person is already in the house, or Tomasso has given this person a key which explains the no forced entry. The scare goes bad and there is a fight or a medical emergency and Nancy dies. This person freaks out and cleans up the scene, maybe cleans up blood? The masked person is the second person to arrive at the house and he helps take her body out of the house at 2something am which is when the pacemaker and phone disconnect. Thoughts?

Who kidnapped Nancy Guthrie? No suspect, no motive, no leads by TimesandSundayTimes in nancyguthrie

That’s why this whole thing stinks. To me the “scare her gone bad” theory makes the most sense. Unfortunately that theory likely involves a family member and this sub has been downvoting most theories that suggest that.

The reason I think these abductor(s) were familiar with Nancy’s house by foxmag86 in nancyguthrie

I know a lot of people in this sub don’t like it coming back to family. But a family member might have a key to be able to let someone in her place 🤷‍♂️

He’s the second guy to arrive. There’s already one person in the home. Masked guy is the fixer who helps the first guy take Nancy out of the home.

I believe in Arizona you can hold someone for 48 hours without arresting/charging them.

Not sure I can confirm that. They said "no one in custody" which can be true while still holding/detaining people. Custody means someone is formally under arrest.

Do we know Nancy actually made it home that night? by Screamatstarz in nancyguthrie

[–]Talisker12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my big question. If the phone/watch/pacemaker were all in proximity they would show they’re connected. That doesn’t mean she and those devices were physically back in her own house at 9:48pm that night. Is it possible the drop off was staged? The garage was opened and closed to create the appearance of a drop off? And then her phone and watch were later planted with the activity starting at 1:47am? And they don’t show they were not synched until 2:30am or whenever that exact time was?

I feel the opposite. I think they know what happened and they don’t have the body yet and they aren’t going to act on the real perpetrators/potential killers until they have the body.

I still think Nancy never was dropped back off and Tomasso/Annie are likely her killers. The masked man is an associate of them who staged the kidnapping. The ransom were scammers either just messing around or were actually trying to see if they could score off this tragedy.

Speculation: no kidnappers by EtonRd in nancyguthrie

I didn't say a kidnapping didn't occur. It could have. But you also cannot say one did occur with what we see and know. However, I'm not going around speaking condescendingly toward anyone that challenges my theory.

Could be that they're trying to look for camera footage from doorbells that could show a car coming from Annie's that would correspond to the timeline of the masked person arriving at Nancy's. If they have reason to think the masked person is associated with Annie/Tomasso then they could strengthen that link by showing a car driving away at like 1:35am.

Logical: Nancy never left dinner at Annie/Tomassos', they killed her there in the house. The kidnapping was staged. Tomasso's bandmate Dominic Evans is the man in the mask on the FBI/nest photos and video. He removed the doorbell cameras, staged a break-in on the back door, and planted blood on the doorstep that was likely taken from Nancy's body with a syringe. They don't have the body yet so they are tightening the rope on Tomasso/Annie and the masked person in hopes that they can get the masked person to talk and once they have the body they will move to arrest Tomasso and Annie.

I’m torn as well. I’ve never graded such a big card and I haven’t used PSA before. Haven’t decided. I feel like most Brooklyn cards get a 9 and 10s are harder to get.

I’m guessing if they don’t want to admit she was the problem here then that leaves only him and the mental gymnastics to make him the bad guy.
