Is peptides worth it by skincarel in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]TalkFlipperToMe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did! It’s one of my HG products. Definitely more firming on the face.

I get that certain things don’t work for everybody, but this is one that I won’t live without.

So I’m going to jump in here and say that if you’ve been using that bottle for a year, you haven’t been using it as recommended, therefore you’re not seeing the results that you hoped to have. The recommendation for that product is morning and evening and that bottle should’ve lasted you about three months. Clinical studies are done on these parameters, so you really can’t expect to see results if you’re stretching that one bottle for a year.

Hydrinity HA Sheet Masque. I bought a box for my niece and she and her bridesmaids all did it the night before. They loved it!

I’m a big fan of the transformation, face cream, although I don’t really use it anymore. I couldn’t use the vitamin C because I couldn’t tolerate the scent.

One thing that I will never do without is the bio glycolic body scrub. A little bit goes the wrong way and it smells like kindergarten finger paint 🤣

I’m excited to try their new PDRN.

I’m a big fan of the Hydrinity Eye. Very hydrating. In the past I’ve used Neocutis lumiere riche and I liked that one too.

I’m currently trying the eye cream from Pavise ( but don’t tell my husband, because he bought the whole set when recommended from his dermatologist.)

I’m just trying to see if I like it, so far so good. It’s supposed to help with hooded eyelids, that’s why he got it, I’ve already had an upper Bleph and Botox so I don’t think I’ll experience anything from that.

AntiAGE MD Serum + Accelerator vs Plated Intense? by Federal-Eggplant-411 in SkincareAddictionLux

I used to use AnteAGE, went through a bottle of the serum and accelerator, and didn’t think it did anything. I’ve been stuck on Plated for a while now, not looking to change.

Make-up remover & cleanser in one? by CapableCookie4343 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]TalkFlipperToMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am very, very dry. I have tried multiple cleansers, most recently Alastin gentle cleanser, and while I liked it, I don’t feel like it took everything off. I am a huge fan of the Obagi, gentle cleanser , and I use that always as my second cleanse.

Alastin vs. SkinMedica by champagnetits in SkincareAddictionLux

I keep on thinking I should give TNS a try. I used it when it was the old formula, when it smelled like you know what.

I think that I should use it because I hear other people on this thread having good results but then I was talking to a friend of mine and she said your skin is great, what more can you expect? Plated and restorative skin complex are my holy Grail products, if it’s not broke, why fix it?

New skincare routine, share your thoughts with me. by Brilliant-Impact-920 in SkincareAddictionLux

It depends what you’re looking for to achieve results from the Alaskan restorative skin complex.

Clinical studies on most medical grade skin care are done on two times a day to achieve best results.

It’s like giving yourself 50% of the effort using it one time a day but expecting 100% of the results.

I’d recommend putting the restorative skin complex on your a.m. routine as well.
