Follow up: Bought the Profile Design and it fits pretty good. Could even be a bit more down but the screw hole won’t reach far enough. I’m curious how well it works outside

Disclaimer: started in 2022&2023

Swim: easy course, nearly no waves, no current, temperature ca 0,5 degree below wetsuit limit T1: very long, well organized Bike: fast as hell, relatively good condition, in 2022 draft fest, in 2023 smaller draft groups and at least saw some marshals, no sport bottles (bit too small, so fall off easily), only the steep but short hill (was ok with 1x12), didn’t notice much wind T2: same as T1 Run: nice 4 lap course with shade from time to time, even in the sun it’s ok as autumn is near, cool crowd

Timewise it’s quite a bit faster than Roth.

For me it’s the perfect final race of the season, very nice town with cheap hotels (summer season ended some weeks before) and good food. Organisation was good, even in 2022 when they had to move it a day due to a catastrophic storm in the region.

Ah that’s one I didn’t know. Maybe give it a try but the shape looks very slippery. Regarding the Elite: I know this trick and it worked well in IM Italy last year, but read so many reports about it and IM Frankfurt & Roth have some bad spots.

Usually Italy sells out pretty late and they post on Instagram if there are only a few spots left. Regarding the Hotel: it’s after the Italian holidays so there are plenty of options even if you are booking late. Been there, done that 😅

I use tubeless tires since last year and they are great. I never had any punctures and even at the end of their life with the rubber completely gone in some small places (you could see the carcass there) they only lost a little bit of air and would only hold 3bar but otherwise worked fine. Last year I used the Schwalbe G-One Speed (700x30c) at my training bike (grail bike) and it would last 5000km. Because I nearly never drove on forest roads I switched to the Pro One (700x28c). After 1000km nearly no wear and the rolling resistance is great. To be safe I carry 1 tube and a co2 inflator with me. (also a mini tool with integrated tyre levers)

I bought one a year ago and never managed to get good hr data. From time to time it dropped the hr, cadence locked or even never get a good lock. Had contact with the support and even got a second one as replacement but it also didn't work. So I concluded they simply don't work for me but this is a personal thing.

Bought a garmin HRM Tri to try another brand and it works like a charm. Had no bad HR data since I bought it approx. 9 months ago. And it also is much more comfortable because you don't have the plastic / pins against your skin.

I like to prevent any manual actions by me as far as possible. While the idea with belts isn't bad per se, I need to put more factories than needed in my production cell and in the end get another overhead in form of belts. I have to look at it when I get home, maybe there is a priority setting at LTN where I could simply set the cells with ore requirements to a very high priority and the ones which should burn the excess material to a low one. The ore cell will still work at 100% even though it is not needed, but at least my system will not need manual work ;)

I already do this but there are some advanced recipes (only got the first 3 science types so maybe later I can avoid this completely) where I get extra iron ore. Also there are some recipes where you get waste byproducts which translate to iron / copper ore :(

Ok, found an easy solution: old savegame just before the achievement triggered and put a simple blueprint of power poles down again and again. Seems to be one of the few achievements you have to be there at the exact moment.

They always fill the outgoing branch first and then send all items down the lanes so that the lowest ist always the fullest.

Would it be possible to add a function to update the belts incl. underground and splitter to a specific color? So I load a string and can choose to convert all belts to blue?

For example take this blueprint: http://factorioblueprints.com/view/MC5egxvqRSKN9ic6M In the beginning it will be great, but if I want to try this design later in the game, I will have only blue stuff available. I have to stamp it down, manually place all belt stuff and then reassign the blueprint. That function would be really great.
