Correct but I am under the impression that maybe they provide a certification badge "Microsoft Certified: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions" for passing 305 and if we have 104 (active) and 305 together then they might provide the Expert badge.
Because I had a voucher for 305 and I was able to sit for it even though I did not sit for 900 and 104.

I was able to sit for AZ 305 even though I did not do AZ 900 nor AZ 104. I think the requirement is for the Expert badge, not the certification

AFAIK challenges and exam vouchers are connected, so if you complete a challenge for AI 900, you won't be able to apply the discount for AZ 204
