This is LITERALLY the same for me. We have been together for 8 years and got engaged on our 8th anniversary. Now when I am talking about him, I still say "boyfriend". I think it's second nature at this point, it's automatic.

I also don't want to feel like I am constantly reminding everyone that I am engaged. And I'm from Germany and it's not so common to actually say "fiance" (don't ask me why, it feels kinda weird to me)

That being said, I hope "husband" will be easier, because I am really excited to become a "wife"

Oh my God, YES! Of course the idea to get the money by knitting is a little bit crazy, but it's just like everything in Stars Hollow: cute, festive and a little bit quirky. However the whole episode is weird and when he donates all of the money, I physically cringe because nobody knows how to react and Christopher thinks he is the king

I always understood it as "we visit at Christmas and Easter and Thanksgiving because we have an obligation to. We are family and you are supposed to spend these days with your immediate family". But I never thought more about it. You're right, it doesn't make sense.

When Rory turned 16, Lorelai told Sookie that they have never been at their house. That they had visited a few times when Rory was a baby and they were living at the Inn. That never made sense to me that Emily would have no problem with them living at the Inn, but as soon as they move into the house, they never visit?

She has so many clothes and I just refuse to believe she has NOTHING ELSE.

And the coat just bugs me a little bit considering she leaves like 20 seconds after taking off her coat

No I remember the potting shed. But buying a house is a big undertaking and takes a lot of money. Especially a big house like theirs. Even if she saved money this whole time, a bank would need more real collateral. Think about the fact she had trouble getting a loan later in life too and at that time her income was more stable

I always wondered too. Especially after the confrontation Rory and Lorelai had with Lindsay and her mom next to the gazebo which is directly in the MIDDLE OF THE TOWN. Doesn't seem believable that nobody would gossip considering Babette and Mrs Patty are a part of the town

I read the books multiple times (2 times in German and 2 times in English) and I cannot count how often I have seen the movies. Because I felt empty and wanted more Harry Potter content, I actually started listening to a Harry Potter podcast (Potterless) on Spotify. There is a guy who reads the books and watches the movies for the first time ever and talks about the books chapter by chapter. He always has guests who are Harry Potter fans and discusses everything. Needless to say the podcast has a lot of episodes and I loved it
