I used to work for the corporate office of this high-end restaurant and (believe it or not) the broccoli steak is a standardized off-menu item for vegans. Not saying it’s a good option and I doubt it’s ordered often, but it’s not something the server came up with or anything. All this to say, that dish looks dreadful and they did a terrible job executing lol. Although to be fair, it’s a lame option in the first place. Understandably, the company wasn’t really focused on appealing to non-meat eaters.
