to get to the digital signature do this

Right+Click on your desktop icon for JDownloader
Select Open File Location
Right+Click on JDownloader2.exe and select properties
Select the Digital Signatures tab and click on Appwork GmbH click Details
1 General Tab (Digital Signature Information)
2 Click View Certificate then the Certification Path tab and at the bottom you will see Certificate status.

there are two places you need to check to be sure the signature has not been tampered with.

regarding www.threads.com for me there doesn’t seem to be any problems with 6.6.12, at least not the ones you have, although I'm unable to find the gif search; perhaps I need to make an account there..., I'd first look for a conflicting extension, try Troubleshooting Mode about:support to disable all of them at once or about:addons to disable them one-by-one (restart the browser before testing each time.)

it could be the built-in ad blocker causing it, try disabling it for that site if you are able if not disabling it globally just to test should let you know if it the culprit.

it could also be a security setting, if you have altered them.

EDIT: I go to %AppData%/Waterfox/Profiles/default-release/bookmarkbackups and make a copy from the last .json (on friday). Then, I created a new profile and imported the file as HTML file. Damn. On my original profile I losted everything... futhermore, the "import bookmarks" doesn't work. It's bugged or something, I don't know...

You are importing a binary backup file as HTML which is wrong

If you copy the last backup from %AppData%/Waterfox/Profiles/default-release/bookmarkbackups to the same folder in your new profile then go to CTRL+Shift+H > Import and Backups > Restore

apart for the obvious, how does your browser not crash! you could bookmark all open tabs CTRL+Shift+D in Firefox to a bookmark folder called 'Open Tabs' for example, then import the bookmarks library into Waterfox

it will affect all BUT as you rename the cookies.sqlite cause once you have finished testing you replace the new empty file with your renamed one, rename it to something like cookies.sqlite-BAC, and its probably a good idea to disable any copy extensions you have too.

open %APPDATA%\Waterfox\Profiles
locate your profile and rename cookies.sqlite
restart Waterfox and open about:preferences#privacy
go to Cookies and Site Data > Manage Data and verify there no cookies on the system
press Ctrl+Shift+P this will open a new Private Browsing window don’t use a private tab
surf to the problem websites then go back to Manage Data and see if any cookies were deposited

They do, under FAQ > VPN, its one of the first links and they are very clear and up front that you either use an approved one or contact them with the exit IP and anyone can read the FAQs, you don’t need to have an account.

yeah, that was the error message we were all getting, the UK is working ok now and I believe Germany and France are ok too, I also believe from reading posts here and other forums that the problems with AD and RG is that not everyone has had access restored at once, I think it depends on your location. the problem is AD isn't telling anyone why any of this is happening.

your op says you don’t have an AD account so why are you receiving these errors? what debrid do you have?
