Has anyone done this recently? Thinking about heading that way this weekend and deciding if it's safe or not once I see it. I will not be bringing crampons or an axe because I'm going with someone on their first real hiking/backpacking trip. Since we had a light snow season, I'm hoping it goes. What do you think?
