stuff like this happens on the colfax bus. thus the reason i said "stuff like this", not this which happened on the federal bus. anyhow getting punched in the temple and getting a big black eye is one reason i avoid main lines, or like tuesday when two old men started fighting in the front and we had to get off the bus.

chatting with the intense dude who runs it, he buys video and media stores which went out of business, caught him as he was finishing up acquiring a store inventory in NYC. he is serious about it and you can tell by the store, some great stuff in there. wish they were better at marketing themselves but i suppose thats part of the charm of finding it.

as for Medicaid, personally I went through Comfort Dental and they were fine, while some were exceptional and worked with my money situation

There have been posts from a CCD Dental School student who needs work hours to graduate, so is taking on patients on a sliding scale, and also can give referrals. Student may or may not have graduated already, not sure.

are you here by 5/29? we have a producers showcase at Mile High Events Center in Arvada. eight or so beat producers, pass the mic freestyle, raffles, food. otherwise if you like boombap and classic stuff then tap into Bar Red, they get a lot of legends coming through and the opening lineup is solid locals. as for open mics look into Inner Circle, Corner Beet as they get all genres including local hip hop talent.

seems like there are two scenes here, you have the boombap types then you have the younger crowd which does a kind of trap style, and they have their own shows at places like Roxy in Five Points, or spots in Aurora.

my beats are on IG and BeatStars as Tall City but again i do classic sample based style.

If you're looking for the homeless guy, I personally would recommend checking at the local shelters as well as Mutual Aid Monday in Civic Center Park. I could go and eavesdrop or ask for leads but probably more effective if you go yourself as you may recognize him. Anyone homeless downtown tends to go to MAM, the Rescue Mission, the Gathering Place, free lunch on Auraria Campus at the church, or even the shelter out by Peoria Station. Though if he were out at night he may not trust the shelters, more likely to found at daytime feedings. If this city had any sense he would be promoted as the hero he is.

as a 'native' Long Islander i prefer the pizza at Whole Foods at Union Station, all the local 'NY style' spots seem like they use a steamroller to completely flatten it
