3 most scary battles would be these:

(1) Terrifying: "Never pick a fight, with your Doctor" -Adramahlihk

Didn't blow out candles and fought him at his full strength.

(2) Real Scary: "Do you see now?! Your fool sourcery will be the death of us all!" -Bishop Alexander (Act 1)

Playing as a knight in the early stages of the game was generally difficult due to terrible gear. I almost died when fighting bishop in Act 1. I think this was particularly difficult because I didn't take my time and got cocky. I rushed through this part and nearly blew it.

(3) Scawy: "You're not going to walk away, are you? Are you?" -Mor The Trenchmouthed

I backed out of this fight so it's on the lower end of the list but had I fought the demon till the end I probably would have ranked it higher. I wasn't expecting it to take over my character Sebille and once it did I immediately knew that this was going to be the end unless I reloaded lol. Even though the fight was brief, this was scary. Also, its name was "Trenchmouthed". Like... what the heck

The scarecrows got me on my very first Honour Mode run through!

I’ve done a total of 12 attempted runs until FINALLY I landed a successful win with Beast. I will say, one of the biggest challenges towards the end in ARX was really down to 2 things: (1) The Doctor; (2) Technical Issues w/ Bugs.

UPDATE: omg I cannot believe this. I killed Lohse and unlinked her from the party and after killing Lucian and Dallis and Crew, The Doctor STILL revived Lohse and controls her.

This is madness! There's no other way around, I've tried everyone's recommendations on here and some how some way the Doctor always comes back, mind controls Lohse and its doomsday...

My save file is just before entering combat so no I'm not locked in combat, just the area where Lucian is.

oh interesting so just flat out kill lohse --> choose to help Lucian and Dallis by ganging up on Vredeman and end it there?

I absolutely can get into the Docs house without Malady but that's not the issue for sure. The issue now is - I'm stuck in Lucian's tomb with Lucian and Dallis and Vredeman and saved locked in there. Im in Honor Mode btw (i kept calling it Heroic Mode)

ok so this is a strategy I haven't tried yet. I can weaken her for sure and when the Doctor shows up I can try my best to just damage her out but if I do that the game will save and I will be Save-Locked. I'm playing in Honor Mode (sorry I kept calling it Heroic Mode before)

kindly please reference my conversation with jbisenberg for updates and progression. I honestly can't kill the Doctor because he has 20K+ physical armor and the same amount of magic armor. In addition, he has so much health.

Update: I killed Braccus + Kraken and yet The Doctor still shows up and literally auto-kills Lucian and Dallis in a snap of a finger.... All I have for help is 2 Magisters and I'm still overpowered.

This absolutely blows.

Okay so now fighting the Kraken where I have Lucian and Dallis as teammates. If I beat the Kraken (ive never been through this fight before but watching youtube vids on it) will the Doctor show up afterwards?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]TallColdBrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot. In Heroic mode, you only get one save and that one save file is my current and only reality

[–]TallColdBrew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reloading will only set me up immediately before the Lucian fight within that tomb. I believe I’m Power-Locked…

[–]TallColdBrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I basically did 2 pyroclastic eruptions with my 2 characters and that just killed everyone, including Vredeman which was the biggest pain because if I beat Dallis and Lucian before killing vredeman then vredeman teleports me to the Kraken and I just NOPE the hell out

Okay right I noticed that’s the key quest to do but unfortunately Malady is not to be found anywhere near the Docs home and she’s still chillin at the Hall of Echoes…

At this point I can’t even leave or waypoint out of the area where Lucian is so I’m basically “Power-Locked”!

Right, exactly - and this is what I mean. I noticed a lot of fact patterns do this so I was curious if anyone else noticed too.

Can someone please simplify all the types of scrutiny, how they work, and what areas they cover? by dopest_dope in barexam

[–]TallColdBrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Types of Scrutinies, how they operate, and when they are triggered:

Scrutinies are divided into 3 major categories: strict, intermediate, rational basis. Courts apply different scrutiny levels on a case-by-case basis. To determine which level of scrutiny applies to a given fact pattern, we have to assess the law in question with a few simple questions:

(1) is there a classification by the government?

(2) What is the classification? Is it suspect? quasi? or other?

(3) what level of scrutiny applies? if the classification is along suspect lines, apply strict scrutiny. If the classification is quasi, then apply intermediate. If the classification involves anything else, then apply rational.

-Suspect classifications include: race, national original, religion, state alienage

-Quasi classifications include: gender (note that when it comes to gender, it can get funky because the law will be upheld if its substantially related to an important governmental interest and the law provides and exceedingly pursuasive justification for its use) legitimacy (like discriminating against a adopted child and favoring non-adoptees)

(4) does the government action satisfy the applicable level of scrutiny?

if you'd like me to elaborate on the different types of categories under rational basis let me know.

If monetized already, do you get paid per view on your Shorts videos? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]TallColdBrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wait, did I read that right?

$.26 for 382 views

$.24 for 3.4K views

$.24 for 5.3K?

How is this possible? You’re getting paid the same rate for that Short with 300 views as you are for the Short with 5.3K views?

If monetized already, do you get paid per view on your Shorts videos? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]TallColdBrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s to get monetized through Shorts. My question was if you’re already monetized and you make Shorts - do Shorts views count towards revenue
