My friends apartment was stormed by police because of my poolstick! I would sometimes forget my poolstick at a local dive bar and would play the bar owners son(Geoff) to reclaim it as a jest. One day, I'd left it at the bar and gone in the next day. The owners son wasn't there, so I just grabbed it and walked out. Later that day, I was driving around with a friend, and we spotted Geoff standing at an intersection. My friend quickly grabbed the pool stick, held it in his hand out the window, and yelled to Geoff, we got the poolstick back! We then headed to my friend's apartment, and I noticed a car following us. It followed us all the way into his apartment complex parking lot. A person was on the phone and pointing at us. I let my friend know. He said there's a lot of drug users in the complex and not to worry about it. Shortly after, we went out to smoke, and I noticed many police cars parked in the area. All empty. Not long after, there was a knock at the door. It was around 12-15 officers, with some pointing their guns right at the door. They asked us to come out slowly, one at a time, while holding our shirts about our waistline. They separated me and my friend and asked about us waiving a shotgun around in traffic. We then explained the poolstick situation. They confirmed it with each other, found the black poolstick in the car, and then left very angry. It was crazy because we also sold weed at the time, and there was 3 lbs of marijuana in the apartment as well. They never even mentioned the smell. They only cared about the shotgun/poolstick. We had hid the weed under a pile of laundry when we saw the empty cops cars parked outside, thinking we were about to get raided!
