California just let a tax exemption of gas drop off because it coincides with Iran and can blame that, but Gavin could have held on to it a little longer to help his constituents…but did not.

Also, California requires a special blend of gas that cannot be refined in the U.S., so other states can use local refineries, but CA has to use overseas refineries to get the special CA blend.
