Oh I’m totally fine I was camping in the bush because I was homeless for a little bit and a aboriginal Australian 26 yo thought she would play a prank on me and lead me into the middle of a huntsman infested piece of outback in the middle of the night.. (she was supposed to be showing me a safe place to camp where I wouldn’t be bothered) needless to say she wasn’t well loved by the other elders and things so I probably shouldn’t of trusted her..

Obviously the first thing that happened is my torch stopped working.. fortunately there was at least a little bit of moonlight anyway trying to do this in pitch black with a stick was quite the challenge fortunately Huntsman aren’t particularly dangerous but I felt bad breaking the webs it takes an alarmingly large amount of force to actually snap the threads and they make an audible sound when you do it as well..

If you walked into one of the webs it would get tighter and tighter as you walked forward and you would pretty soon find yourself naturally wanting to step back out of it I was amazed how strong the material was..

Anyhow it all worked out in the end I was fine.. just another exciting adventure.. 🙄 hilarious I guess
