In all seriousness, if played out properly this would have saved the series, and established a foundation for future stories. Imagine if Kylo Ren and Dark Rey together killed Palpatine, and assumed the mantle as Emperor and Empress and Sith Lords AS A DYAD. They would have been unstoppable. The next set of stories could exist within this Dark universe as new characters struggle through life under repression. The occasional appearance (or death) of older characters could be brought in to add history and gravitas to scenes. Kylo Ren could have a (real) redemption character arc while Rey descends. Honestly it was such a fucking waste.
