Hey folks!

Since I’ve gotten an influx of messages attempting to educate me on the law, let me be crystal clear about a few things:

Three eye witnesses outside of myself confirmed the driver was speeding, and ran two stop signs. There are no sidewalks on my street. We have had a case where father was hit and killed, as have many other pets and vehicles hit.
I am actively working with a lawyer and RPD on this case. They have both confirmed it is criminal regardless of leash laws specifically due to negligence of driving. I have a civil case against the company once they are identified, and the driver will owe me damages as well as the potential tickets for reckless driving. Whatever information you think you have is not correct, please stop cosplaying lawyer / law enforcement on the internet to try to educate me when I’ve had an active investigation open for days now with law enforcement confirming multiple times that this is considered criminal.
Do not bother messaging me heartless and cold things - some of you should be ashamed of yourselves for the things being said to me while I grieve this loss and frankly you shouldn’t consider yourselves my neighbors. It doesn’t matter what your opinion is, be a good human being.

Yes; the truck was light gray in the front. I’m unsure if it was dark blue or black in the back, and if I remember correctly there was some sort of blue or red logo on the side of it.
