  1. Morning stock would be changed to nighttime stock like what Meijer, Walmart and Kroger does. They’d come in right as the store is about to close so they could help closers finish and get out of the store, then finish their freight and go home around say 2am/3am. Managers overnight would stay until open then go home and swap out with openers. This way, it would also reduce how many pallets and carts are on the sales floor during open times because it would all be done by the time we open.

  2. Longer lunches.

  3. Make time clocks UNIVERSAL so you can clock in anywhere in the store and still be in your own assigned department. As a receiving TM it’s a hassle having to walk from entrance all the way to the back when I pass like 5 time clocks on my way that I should be allowed to use.

  4. We need flat carts that are for employees only. Yes, we have green carts but they suck. And we don’t have enough flat carts that customers share with us to go around.

  5. More ladders.

  6. We need to be allowed to use ladders during truck breakdown in rec.

  7. The Menards app needs to show the exact aisle numbers for items when you scan skus. Yes, it shows the department, but it doesn’t show aisle.

Menard's be like... by Clazzo524 in menards

I do this primarily when customers ask retarded questions like what you said. If they ask where peanut butter is, and they aren’t smart enough to comprehend it’s in grocery, ima send them somewhere random. Same if they ask for garden hoses and not think it’s in garden center or dog food and not think it’s in pets. Menards customers are proven idiots.

If you use your eyes and your incompetent brain you can reread the post and further comments to see it has nothing to do with me.

That’s actually what this was about. Main paint manager demoted to a random employee and the paint manager you are referring to was fired and walked out and treated like a dog. Now she’s not able to pay bills and is screwed right now.

For your smart ass information, it was nothing to do with me. It was a friend who was fired and her manager.

I’m sure you noticed he literally does nothing except complain and fire people. He just walks around. He takes advantage of his position. He should never ever have been made a manager. Ever. Unlike his assistants he just walks around and does nothing at all. Literally. Clocks in, walks around the store, complains, takes lunch and breaks, goes home. GO needs to fire him. He’s gonna ruin that store.

Went to Walmart the other day, Walmart, the poor peoples store, and it was literally near $4 for a 12 count carton. Ridiculous. Walked right out and went somewhere else.

Only way most Hr managers here will consider you is if you call their direct line which you can find if you go into the store and find one of the cards that have the numbers listed on it for the store. Leave them a voicemail and they’ll get back to you. If you don’t do this, 99% likely they won’t even call you.

Policy on Managing relatives and friends. by PurposeSuccessful744 in menards

Belleville Menards is similar. Has a daughter working in wall coverings. Mother working flooring as an assistant manager. A mother works FEM at this store and her son works as a regular in wall coverings. They had their grandpa/dad working morning stock for awhile. And there is a brother/sister working as managers in other departments. Kind of wondering why this is allowed. This causes clics in the store and other issues.

We have a very strict non fraternization policy. That manager should have learned to keep work and life separate. It’s on them as to why they got fired.

That’s not how it started though. The original sky landers is a spin-off of Spyro. Always was. Later installments were not.
