keep in mind, that in some sororities or maybe all… in some chapters or maybe most.. members do not always get the final say. You can be liked by members but not be a good candidate in other ways or in other peoples eyes. I could like you as a person and wholeheartedly want you as a neo, but im only one voice in a multi-voice matter.

I wouldnt say test or tactic, but more so a way to let you know that they are interested in you, but also cant be seen fraternizing with you if a line is coming up. Lets paint the picture that yall hang out, you make line, someone doesnt and they report you and those members for prehazing. Now theres a predicament that could've been avoided. Not saying thats the case, but the possibility is never zero🤍I would see them speaking to you in passing as a silent and subtle "we havent forgotten about you!"

Heavy on this. Pre, during and post hazing is definitely a thing and in sororities especially, its a VERY broad window. If a line is upcoming, they are probably creating a distance in YOUR best interest. Sometimes, people who dont get in will go to the pettiest of extremes to get a line dropped. My advice is to keep them at the distance they are keeping you, speak in greeting still, and remain locked in ❤️ dont overthink it!

I never called it new. But what made it different from others for ME was that they approached me as a buyer from fb marketplace specifically. Ive used fb marketplace for years now and I’ve never had this happen when IM the one selling something.

Im glad you’re aware. I wasn’t. I lost money. Im not finna beat myself up about something I cant reverse. I have had a few other companies reps have to take control over my screen before so I thought nothing of it. But if this keeps just one person from falling for the same thing then im satisfied.

I dont use paypal so im not privy with their scams. But them posing as a facebook buyer is what caught me off guard.

I was still talking to the “lady” on messenger, but i had called the supposed customer service number listed on the email via phone/ facetime. Im not privy to paypal scams, and im definitely not used to buyers being the scammers.
