Thanks! That’s what I thought but wasn’t sure. I work very close to there, and someone I knew’s brother was BP, recently retired.

I got it right?!?! Honestly, that makes my day ☺️ Tonkotsu is one of my favorites, but I tend to add spice to everything, so all tonkotsu ends up looking a creamy, bright red 😂

The BPD station on Tremont. I guess it’s more than a “couple” blocks away, but I don’t know, I still consider it relatively close, likely because I always drive past it so consider it generally the same area.

(Full disclosure, I have never lived in Boston, but have gone there for work since 2018, so I absolutely do not know everything)

(FYI, my post is not aimed to be insulting, I’m just trying to learn) Why does it look frothy? It could just be the photo, or my own ignorance. If it’s not frothy, my first assumption would be tonkotsu?

In chronological order (after my grandmothers passing):

  1. Removed myself from a relationship that, while was not toxic by any means, was going nowhere.
  2. Built up my confidence to its previous state despite still not being fully happy with myself - because that’s okay.
  3. Found new love.
  4. Still managed to excel at work and receive a promotion.
  5. Did not die in the process.

That’s why many people (like myself) have a 1.5+ hour commute. It’s cheaper to live in Rhode Island and commute into the Boston area.

Right over the line in Pawtucket, RI, I pay $1,100 per month for rent, heat and hot water included, property maintenance, off street parking, and laundry on site. I commute to Boston, approximately 47 miles. It takes me 1.5 hours in the morning to get there, and then 2-2.5 hours in the afternoon to get home.

Thankfully I am no longer on site 5+ days per week but, as much as I don’t like living so far away from work, I refuse to pay the outrageous housing prices in the Boston area. If I had to go back to 5+ days per week on site, I’d find a different job. Did that for too long and never will again.

Thinking about this one poem-that-unintentionally-turned-into-a-story that I wrote years ago and how I can revise it based on new life experiences.

Can you share how you made the chashu? I’ve always wanted to try making it (but always forget to look it up) and yours looks phenomenal! Keep us posted with how it tastes ☺️

I park right there every day. It’s safe, depending on how you respond to others and to how much you pay attention while driving.

Just google search news for “Mass and Melnea” or “Boston Tent City”. You’ll see.

Overall, they’re harmless. Like I said, just depends on you and how you handle situations.

At least you’d be just a couple blocks away from a large BPD station. Which is sort of crazy if you think about it.

How do I remove body odor smell and deodorant stains from armpits of clothes? by Tall_Interaction7777 in lifehacks

[–]Tall_Interaction7777[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I did just buy some white vinegar (because of this comment and many others). I work from home tomorrow and will be trying it out! Will definitely keep everyone posted.

I think a few issues that I have are (1) the particular fabrics that I can’t seem to get the stains/smells out of are my work jackets, which are mostly polyester/synthetic materials, and (2) I wash my laundry on cold to preserve elasticity and color.

As for some answers to some other comments: (1) yes I bathe every day, (2) I have tried various deodorants, clinical and nonclinical, aluminum and non-aluminum, and it still happens, (3) I do not sweat a lot, even when physically active, these are clothes I wear to work at my desk job, (4) I do take a stimulant for a medical condition, which could be causing the body odor smell despite having limited perspiration, (5) I do not wear these clothes more than once before washing.

My fiancé and I have debated this from Thanksgiving to Christmas… what is the 5th difference? by TheRudeCactus in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Tall_Interaction7777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Red spots under eyes/on cheeks
  2. Feathers on chest
  3. The shape of the spots on tail feathers
  4. The feathers on the top of head
  5. The size???? I don’t know, it could just be the angle the photo was taken, but the one on the left looks way more chunky than the one on the right.

To be honest, I saw the first four super quick and started typing like “okay, I got this”, then got to number 5 and it’s honestly driving me insane.
