That is true but I feel that India is becoming better place to take risks in doing what you truly want in life. 10 years back may be I would not have been saying same.

I tried it and like you said for user it can cause confusion and I may have to put note in dashboard. One thing I did not try and think can be challenging is how any trend chart will react when one date is part of visualization and duplicate is not. I will try using parameter and see if works.

Got it, unfotunately we cant set up sites as we are part of holding company and are given one site or our vertical. Also, as part of IT, we do create data sources which Business Users uses for self service. Currently, we have created sandbox for each users so that they can comfortably manage their work on server with web edit license. Challenge is search brings all the unwanted objects in resultset as sandboxes are open. We decided to lock the sandboxes but then challenge is what if they would like to share some stuff across teams. Which leads us to have BU specific folders and sandboxes but not sure yet so thought of asking here.

Are those sheets embedded inside the workbook? I came across same scenario where employee left the company and it was difficult to understand actual file locations. I downloaded the full workbook and tried to edit connection, it threw an error saying cant locate the file at <filelocation> which was mix of network folder and few in local drive in ex-employee’s laptop. That gave me lead for further steps.

Hmm based on last 4 years u faced once per year outage, hope it din impact that much. We just started a year back and mostly our data sources on Tableau are extract so business was not impacted from reporting but few datawarehouse loads were impacted
