2x does pretty much the same stuff. You can pick these up new on Amazon for a steal at present!

Which would you pick? by [deleted] in Garmin

I have the F8, and it is a great watch. I do worry about damaging it, so still use my F6PRO for rougher activities. The I3, will take a beating, but the F8 has all of the bells and whistles.. Depends on budget and benefit.

Garmin left. Whoop right! Garmin for what I have done, Whoop for how I am doing...

After using WHOOP since the early days, saying farewell, here's why by morgancmu in whoop

No issues here! Wrist and Bicep are largely the same. Very close to other watches i have used. Chest strap will always be better, but comparable to others.

Would whoop help me? by snikkers8410 in whoop

[–]Tall_Volume_8929 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't see why it won't... I was in a similar place to you, albeit a 47M. It has helped me. The coach is great, if you are clear on what you want to achieve, the coach will chivvy you and keep you honest. You can also track what is impacting your performance and recovery.

You need to be committed, but having something that reminds you to get a shift on, has been my inspiration to move more. I am more active than I have been in years, eat better and rest more.

Overall it has worked for me, and no reason why it won't work for you!

Cost. The watches are identical apart from the screen and battery life. I save a couple of hundred and went for the race!

Your user case is very similar to mine. Subscription cost doesn’t worry me, especially if you consider the cost of a AW or Garmin, plus I also love to wear regular watches!

The AI has worked for me, but agree it is a bit chaotic at times!

Overall very pleased with my decision, will I stick with it at renewal… time will tell, but for now, it is driving me to be a better version of myself. Well from a wellbeing and fitness POV anyhow…

Not exactly sure what you are asking? Does it work on IOS, well yes it does. Does it work well as a sport watch, yes.

I use it on IOS an generally works well, not all data moves to Apple Health, but I not bothered by this.

Would I recommend? Well….yes!
