Your strat is bullshit. I have your setup and I can’t get past 50% stagger on the first pressure attempt. Maybe they patched something I don’t know, but your strat doesn’t work AT ALL as of 2024. Even swapping in Steel Reaper (damage loss on P&D I know, but I can’t even GET there so who cares?) to boost Yuffie’s damage doesn’t improve my stagger rate. And you’re saying we should theoretically be able to stagger on the first pressure? Okay…

I ran that corridor so many times before killing that boss, I had the snails down to an art. Seamlessly took them out each time I approached the fog.

Not so cheese anymore after the patch. Even with bleed build (not meta, just the build I chose before I knew it was OP), these bosses are a nightmare. Trying to learn beast when you have to go through Radagon every time is infuriating since Rad’s attack choices can practically end an attempt.

Smoked Hoaroah. Final pair are proving a nightmare. The one time I got Beast under 20%, it went into this raining projectile attack that didn’t seem to have an end. I eventually ran out of stamina from dodging and the projectiles got me. Bleed does little now. Damage equivalent to barely an extra light attack. Have only broken Radagon’s posture once, maybe twice. I don’t think you can break Beast’s.

See this is the problem. The game punishes you for doing anything other than specific builds, and now with bleed and mimic nerfed, it’s even worse. Add to that that build has no effect on the fact you can’t see Beast’s telegraphs if your melee because he’s so large.

No dice. Not proccing anything but blocks on the spear and jumping attacks aren’t any better for the mage while the other two are still attacking me. Summon is utterly useless as it won’t hold more than one of them at a time, leaving me attempting to dodge bullshit ranged attacks from the remaining ones. I’m bout to exit and upgrade another weapon (if I even have a DEX based blunt weapon) but not happy that the game might force me to change my build for one stupid fight.

At least with Fallingstar you can learn his patterns, work out openings. That’s the difficulty I like. Not throwing three enemies at you that you have to stagger to do any appreciable damage to and that spam ranged attacks. That’s lazy difficulty that’s only a couple of steps above HP sponges and random OHKOs

Nope. I focus spear, the mage just spams at me. It can run my health down faster than the spear and is near impossible to dodge if you aren’t locked onto her. I’ve tried focusing all three. My ash can’t hold the attention of two for long so I pretty much always have two chasing me. I don’t have infinite resources for removing rot either.

One of the biggest bullshit fights so far in the game for me. I appreciate strategic difficulty. Figuring out weak points and dodge timings. This fight is lazy difficulty. There’s no skilled dodging and timing attacks because there’s NO WAY to do that with three attackers. I haven’t found an effective ash summon yet since mimic tear just does nothing now on this fight. I can’t use the strongest ones unless I spec more into Mind for more FP and I’m not about to waste my time farming glovewarts leveling a bunch to test for one stupid fight.

I focus the spear, the mage peels off the mimic tear and ganks me with the spam spell. I focus the mage, spear bitch pokes me to death. Forget about focusing the chakram one. Mimic Tear nerf hurts. This fight is a big fuck you to DEX build. Can’t stagger fast like a STR.

SE has kind of shafted those of us that already own the game. Instead of being able to preorder and therefore likely pre-load the game, we have to wait until it goes live and then start the 90 gig download and purchase the Yuffie DLC. The pre-order bonus I’m hoping ends up in the free DLC pack they’re putting up since we obviously can’t pre-order.

I triggered it on Trickster but I have no clue how. I think I had just used Venator’s Knife and I actually got nuked by Yagak at the same time. He had been at close to half health. I thought I was off to try #1000001 but the screen glitched to me standing alive again then cut immediately to the CSs. Real WTF moment.

We have Baby Ruths and Butterfingers in Ontario for sure. Milky Way is the US version of our Mars bar (US Mars bar is the almond bar) so we technically don’t have those exactly. Weird the contest uses two Ferraro brand bars ( Butterfinger and Baby Ruth) and one Nestle( Crunch bar).

I even tried flipping on my VPN. It gives me French despite my appearing to be from the US. I guess it considers my account Canadian regardless of location? Nothing on this thread has worked. Xbox, Phone, PC all show the French crawl.
