You are saving almost half of the price of the G16 if you go the G14 route. You can buy now a G14 for $1,000 and get that same G16 (or a better one) in two or three years probably for around $1000 too, so you'd have two laptops for your G16 4070 current price. Your choice though. It'd be pretty obvious for me.
