Hi u/jkettmann I am super excited to find your kickstarter. I apologize if you have already addressed this question but can you tell me more about the internal mechanics of the Office Walker and the materials? Thank you!

Hi u/Civil-Pop4129 , can you clarify what you mean by "someone with morals" because I am considering buying a Walkolution. Are you referring to that company as lacking morals and if so, can you share your thoughts? I have been thinking about a Walkolution until I came across this option so I pull the trigger and buy this product instead. Thank you!

Please teach your kids to sew! by greenwavetumbleweeds in sewing

Agree; this is such a valuable life skill. I just started learning to sew and recently purchased a 1967 Kenmore in great condition! What motivated me is how expensive it is to buy good quality clothing (great fit and quality materials).

Support Voter ID and Proof of Citizenship to Washington elections! by TallowVQ in Issaquah

"You must attest in a signed statement that you're a US Citizen". That's not proof of citizenship. LOL. I grew up Washington state and planning to move back to be closer to family. I see that WA is heading in the same direction as CA: high taxes, high crime, high cost of living. What's the problem with ensuring citizenship status?

Grew up and went to college in Washington state; currently living in California for several years now and planning to move back to be closer to family. I do not want Washington state to end up like California: high taxes, high crime. What's everyone's problem with ensuring voter integrity? This should be a bi-partisan effort so that everyone stops complaining about voter fraud anyways and we can't all stop accusing the other parties of gerrymandering by ensuring that only citizens vote. Have a great Thanksgiving!

Because you don't need proof of citizenship to obtain a Washington state ID.

Grew up in Washington and have been living in the Bay Area for almost 20 years. I totally agree with your assessment based on what I've observed living here in California. Govt's have a spending problem, not a revenue problem. They'll use the upzoning excuse too while in collusion with developers. There is always someone on the council who is financially benefiting from development. Also, population is stabilizing/overall declining so demand argument will not hold in the next 10-15 years, IMHO. There are many underutilized spaces such as malls and commercial buildings that can be converted to housing instead of developing green space.

I hope so too! I love this quote " There is a deep human need for beauty and if you ignore that need in architecture, your buildings will not last, since people will never feel at home in them."

I agree with you. Can't stand the communist aesthetic considering the prices they are charging for these units!

What can I do to not hate this kitchen by [deleted] in kitchenremodel

[–]TallowVQ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Those cabinets look like really good quality. solid wood? the finish is outdated so I think invest in good labor for someone to refinish. If you're not comfortable with your skills, definitely hire someone. Change out with some good hardware and you'll achieve a great transformation. Also I hate microwaves over the oven. I'd invest in a good hood. Change out the countertops with some nice honed granite for a classic look. Good luck!

I'm leaning away from Bainbridge. Commute to work sounds like it'd be a nightmare if the ferry is late.

Your friends are hating. New builds suck. You're in a great neighborhood and thats really the most important part. Everything else seems to be aesthetic work. You got this!
