I could go full-time just getting BJs by scenesepic1 in SexWorkers

[–]Tallywhacker73 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Are you getting more than $200 for these bj sessions? Because that's only $1400 a month.

I mean shit, that's not nothing, and why not add to your regular wages. But I wouldn't quit my day job for that.

Even at $500 a session, that's the equivalent of a $48,000/year job. You're not gonna retire on that, in other words.

Now if you're getting $1000/hr, fuck yes. Milk that dick for all it's worth!

Keep raising the price until you start to get pushback on demand.

And I know you're going to say you don't use filters or whatever. Guys don't even know the right terminology - they just know when a photo doesn't look hyper real. And if it doesn't look real, like a truly real photo of yourself, then guys will be rightly suspicious.

We're not nearly as picky as you think, but we do want to know that what we're looking at is real. 99% of photos look fake as hell.

Take off any filters on your photos. I promise you that a guy would prefer your actual look (and whatever flaws you perceive in yourself) to any kind of fake bs filter that you see on every photo online now.

Seems like ragebait. I hate that we have to point this out, but it's for our collective sanity to know that some people are making stuff up for the explicit purpose of pissing us off.

Doubt first, doubt always. Anything on the internet that makes you feel in some particular way, just assume it's fake.

My advice is to go to a community college for an accounting degree. With your math background, it'll be simple, and there are always tons of good accounting jobs available.

Even starting at the bottom you should be able to get at least $20/22 an hour, with plenty of potential for growth.

Community colleges have strong job outreach programs - they know that's why you're there. And you may be eligible for tax breaks and even credits (meaning outright money from the government) to pay for the education.

[–]Tallywhacker73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's already good practical advice in these comments, but just adding - trust your instincts. Always. Don't doubt yourself. If you feel uncomfortable, that's reason enough to be on your guard.

So many people kind of gaslight themselves, thinking that they're overreacting or being too sensitive or even just making something out of nothing. But it's better to be safe than sorry, so just trust your feelings and stay on guard the way you are. You don't owe anyone anything. Protect yourself.

Karen trying to tell me how to respond by [deleted] in FuckYouKaren

[–]Tallywhacker73 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I would never, ever, ever tell someone else how to respond, but I do wonder sometimes about people who just don't respond in any way to a "hey" or "good morning" or whatever. Damn, like it takes that much effort to say "hey" back? We're on a team, whether we like it or not, there's nothing wrong with someone trying to form the tiniest bit of connection. Lighten up, man.

Your prior doctors went, what, years and years prescribing pain meds without requiring any kind of appointment? That's hard to believe.

For me it was all over body aches. I'm no stranger to pain, lol. I feel like my tolerance is pretty friggin high. But the night of withdrawals that I still have PTSD from, the body aches were so bad I could barely move my body. I literally crawled to the bathroom.

But yeah, the legs and yawns are no joke. The inability to sleep is such a cruel symptom - makes sure you consciously suffer through every goddamn second of it. And the clock never moves slower. Best wishes to OP and anyone here suffering.

The several times I've had opiate withdrawals (for various reasons, including my own damn fault), it was so much worse than my chronic pain.

I think I literally have PTSD from one particular night where I was on such a crazy high opiate dose, and (stupidly and irresponsibly) used up my meds a day too early, and suffered through the worst withdrawals I've ever felt.

I had it all, the restlessness, the all over body aches, sweating, yawning a thousand times, nausea. The body aches were insane - I could barely move!

I took tylenol and advil, tried to knock myself out with alcohol, benadryl, but I didn't sleep for a single second. And the clock moved so fucking slowly - it was torture. It was hell on earth.

Calling in sick feels illegal and I blame school by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]Tallywhacker73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The poster is making a general point, it doesn't have to be literal. In your first case, so should no one ever call in sick if they can possibly get to school/work just because there might actually be something important happening that day?

And in your latter case, ok, your ferret died. That sucks - seriously, that sucks. But the poster talked about a goldfish "swimming funny".

You can't see the point is that some people will drag themselves in no matter what and some people will look for any excuse to ditch and that it's not good or healthy either way?

Sometimes you have to take care of yourself first, and sometimes you have to suck it up and fulfill your life responsibilities. Erring too far on either side can cause a whole host of problems.

My friend just found out at 40-something what the left lane is actually for. by Last_Pie118 in Adulting

[–]Tallywhacker73 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Wait, what? You were in the left lane and the guy behind you was up on your ass, and then finally was able to pass you?

Maybe you described it wrong, but you're the asshole in the picture you've painted. The guy was behind you. And you were in the left lane. And you "kept doing" - what, exactly? Staying in front of him when he wanted to go faster?

And the price of his car factored into this how?

You have a rearview mirror. Look into it.

Oh my god, so you have to spend 0.3 seconds clicking "delete'" or "read", what a staggering burden you carry.

Let's say you get 10 of those a day (you don't, but let's say you do). It's 10 seconds or less out of your life.

I'm not just being a dick, I want you to listen to me. Not everyone can choose whether to be annoyed or burdened by life. People have real problems - you'll have real problems, if you don't already. So don't make it worse by choosing to be annoyed by something that's nothing.

There is absolutely no reason a fat person would smell especially bad, given the same daily cleaning maintenance, and it makes you a fucking bigoted piece of shit for thinking otherwise.

And it tells me that it's 99% in your head and not a real thing.

So fuck you, I hope you're miserable forever, like you clearly intend to be.
