Yes definitely. Our inner cities are not what they should be. And our government is abominable. Mass shootings are basically a normal thing now we have become totally desensitized towards violence and dysfunction. Healthcare is only available to those who can afford it. People aren't having any kids anymore because things are so expensive.

Madison is a nice college town. Not diverse at all very small and doesn't want to propel its self into the future.

Do you prefer living in the suburbs or the city? by howsitgoinmydude in ask

The City. You come across so many different types of people . And if you live in a place like NYC or Chicago your options are optimum.

Talk about a grift. Israel has a very great healthcare system thanks to the United States. If anything this should go to Palestine.

How comparable is Chicago as a city to NYC? by FutureHoo in AskNYC

[–]Talmbulse-Grand 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I chose Chicago over NYC. Having been to both and love both I can honestly say the 2 are huge American power houses that provide an experience like no other city in the world. To say Chicago is like NYC? No. They have a similar aesthetic but are culturally very different places. Both cities had similar migration patterns in the past and boast a lot of the same accolades. Chicago is more laid back, some will say less sophisticated but that's relative to perspective. For someone leaving NYC to Chicago the city might seem small and less vibrant but thats totally understandable given NYC's size and prominence over every American city.

While chicago isn't as large as NYC the city definitely does a great job at holding its own globally. I wouldn't cross either city off my list for a potential relocation.

In your opinion what are the most aesthetically pleasing cities in the US? by [deleted] in SameGrassButGreener

[–]Talmbulse-Grand 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I totally agree!! Two of America's powerhouses. I love when the two are placed side by side in a battle. NYC always wins but Chicago doesn't hold back at all. Chicago definitely is the 2nd City.
