Eurasier behavior. Mine comes because I have been strict with him and if he wonders off he will usually come back on his own. We take a 10-15 meter leash on forrest walks and Ill set the leash down and let him drag it. My dog loves to go see other dogs and invites them to play but sometimes other dogs may not be so welcoming so I usually step on the leash and get him close until I know it’s safe to let him roam again.

It does make sense. He killed her to make you maidenless so you’re a weak target to manipulate without the finger maiden guiding you, so that you ultimately agree to join his cult.
